You will start from your hotel or pickup point and travel about an hour to local villages in the Gulf of Papagayo, where rural and indigenous communities live. Along the way you can observe the authentic lifestyle of the inhabitants, their traditions and daily customs. 5.00Excursion was nice! Tour guide took us through local towns, told us about the history of the cultures and some land marks, and to an amazing local restaurant for lunch that was very delicious, and stopped by Tamarindo beach to see the beautiful sunset!!!

5.00We had an awesome time on the Costa Rica Xplorers cultural tour! Jack the Daddy was super helpful in setting everything up and giving us the details before we went, and our guide Johnny was absolutely amazing. He spent the whole day with us, teaching us about the culture, and making sure everyone had a great time. We started off checking out an iguana park, then visited a few small towns and even a local cemetery that gave us a real feel for Costa Rican life. Rancho Los Coyotes was a highlight, they showed us how they process sugar cane juice the traditional way, and we got to taste it fresh. Lunch was delicious, real Costa Rican food that hit the spot after a busy morning and our favorite food out of our entire week in CR. We did some souvenir shopping and ended the day at Coco Beach and Playa Hermosa, the perfect spots to relax and take in the beautiful ocean views as we caught the sunset. The whole experience went way beyond what we expected, would totally recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica. Pura Vida!
