At Cuscun we don’t just cook. We also provide authentic experiences. For those looking to taste the true and traditional flavors of Guatemala, this is the place to visit. During our cooking class you will learn about Guatemalan food and cooking techniques along with culture and a look into everyday life in the village of Jocotenango. Alongside our chef Carolina and sous chef Iris you will prepare a typical Guatemalan food. You will have the option to choose from different well-known Guatemalan dishes, such as Pepián, Jocón, Kak'ik, Subanik, Tamales, Chiles Rellenos and typical Guatemalan desserts. All the dishes can also be vegetarian. Once we are done with cooking, we will taste your dishes either on our rooftop terrace with a spectacular view of the volcano Agua or in a colonial indoor dining room.

From the music, to the conversation, to the 3 courses, everything was such a great way to experience and dive into the culture of Guatemala. Thank you all so much!

5.00A truly wonderful experience all around! The communication was impeccable! I got confirmation of my booking immediately and additional confirmations leading up to the activity. They provide transportation to and from right to the door of my AirBnB which was nice and unexpected. The facility is BEAUTIFUL! The staff were amazing! We made a 3 course meal and each dish had roots and history in Guatemala. And we did ALL of the cooking. The prep, mixing, cooking, mixing, EVERYTHING! But for me the most impactful part was how the ladies teaching the class helped me with a small personal emergency that I was not prepared to handle. I will never forget their kindness and help. A truly impactful and great experience.

5.00We absolutely loved this cooking class. Belen was the BEST chef. Ebbher was awesome our whole crew was so fun. They made us feel so at home and the experience was amazing. The meal was delicious and this truly was the highlight of our trip
