5.00Our tour with Aaron was the highlight of our visit to Singapore. Much more than just a visit focused on food, Aaron explained many of the unique features of Singaporean society. Using the ultra modern train system to get to Aaron’s home town to begin the tour ensured the experience had an authentic feel from the start. This was not the usual visit to a tourist hot spot. Instead we ate with the locals and say hi to some of Aaron’s friends. All along the journey Aaron outlined interesting features of the delicious food and drink we were encouraged to try. He even took the time to take us to a local supermarket because we wanted to experience that as well. If you want a feel for life as a local then this is the tour for you. Highly recommended!

5.00Fantastic in all ways! William was knowledgeable, fun, accommodating, and respectful. He took us to local places off the beaten path and had us try a variety of authentic, delicious, and interesting foods. We enjoyed seeing new neighborhoods where only locals eat and learning about Singapore culture through his eyes. He went above and beyond in terms of accommodating our tastes, location, and schedule. If you want a great authentic experience, go with William Ting! He’s the real thing!

5.00Great! William went above and beyond expectations. We went to out of the way places to eat where locals enjoy the mix of cultural delights. He also provided a lot of great information about Singapore history and culture. He was warm and fun and interesting and a great ambassador to his county. Highly recommend the experience and William in particular!!!!

5.00Cathy was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and great fun. We ate at a hawker centre and it was good to have Cathy to “show us the ropes” as it could be a little intimidating for first timers. Cathy introduced us to foods that we would not have normally ordered - which were delicious. Cathy shared her encyclopaedic knowledge of the development and history of Singapore which was fascinating. All thoroughly recommended!

5.00Everything was smooth. We had so much fun and we were so full. William was a great tour guide, explained a lot of history from food to Singapore’s past. William allowed us to customize the itinerary based on our interest.

5.00We wanted to experience authentic Singaporean food that local Singaporeans eat and not necessarily be taken to the usual tourist spots. William Ting, our guide, tailored our tour to suit our needs and took us to some hidden gems. We ate at restaurants in the Jalan Besar district and hawker's markets in the Whampoa district where we ate scissor cut chicken curry, noodles with a unique taste and soup, satay vermicelli noodles, chicken rice, traditional beef dish and shaved ice for dessert. William wanted to let us try more food but we couldn't fit it in. William was a great host, new so much about his country, and culture and impressed some locals too, who were sitting at the table next to us. We learnt so much from William and he was so easy to talk too. William also offered tips on how to make the most of our stay here in Singapore and how to get around using public transport. We found him a great communicator, kept us up to date with our itinerary and was reliable. We highly recommend William as a Tour Guide.

5.00Six of us had the great fortune to have engaged Cathy for what was described as a Singapore food tour. But what Cathy provided was much much more. She met us at hotel where she briefly described the history of Singapore. She fielded all of our questions and then some. Then we walked to Chinatown and the Maxwell Hawker Market. Cathy who is native born, knew the best vendors and quickly brought selections of the best and most popular dishes and drinks. She also supplied clean wipes, napkins and eating utensils. Everything was delicious and special. While we feasted, she told us all about the food and the various cultural traditions. Again, answering all of our questions with facts and personal experiences. Afterwards, we walked around Chinatown as she pointed out the iconic wall paintings and buildings of special interest making suggestions of places to visit later. We toured an interesting museum: Singapore City Gallery exhibiting scaled models and the documents detailing Singapore’s planning, development, and future aspirations. Finishing the tour with a stop at an unique and historic coffee house. Cathy throughout our tour shared facts and stories all in a very friendly and informed manner. The value was enormous and has been the best thing we’ve done in Singapore so far.
