Having shared the story of Come From Away with almost a million people, and partnered in life with born and raised Newfoundlander, Deneen, my passion for this place is what drives my desire to share it with you.
*All tours hosted and guided by George, Deneen, and/or historian Dave Peters - who descends from one of Newfoundland's earliest settled families All are deeply steeped in the culture and traditions of this land and are excited to welcome you inside the story:)

In 2026, we’ll be hosting a max of 12 guests/outing. There will be no large bus tours. The personal connections established on our outings are our priority, and what sets us apart:)

***Please note that all times given are approximate. I won't rush you:) For a moment, you’ll be the easternmost person in North America. We’ll experience the power of the wild North Atlantic crashing against the rocks, the historical points of interest including the massive cannons installed to defend North America in WW2, and, weather permitting, ascend to the lighthouse, with the most spectacular views anywhere.
Petty Harbour
Just outside of St. John’s is the quaint, working fishing village of Petty Harbour, home to Great Big Sea singer Alan Doyle,

5.00We had a lovely day out with Deneen! The tour was a great way to see some of the highlights of St.John’s and the surrounding area and pick up a bit of Newfoundland history along the way. Highly recommend!

5.00Deneen was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. She operated a small tour van and was able to provide a very personalized experience. The drive outside of St John’s was beautiful even in early spring when leaves weren’t out yet. The fish and chips meal provided lots of food, and the fresh-caught cod was delicious. A very enjoyable afternoon.

5.00Out excursion with George was great and very enjoyable. The weather was amazing and I enjoyed the small group experience. George took us to all the main spots and I liked the added bonus of Portugal Cove and lunch. I’d highly recommend George for a great excursion.

5.00Just an excellent experience to have enjoyed during our trip to St. John's. George is engaging and knowledgeable, and the spot we went for lunch was fantastic. We learned so much about the area and saw things we never would have on our own. Very highly recommend!
