  Sarah was a terrific guide and we learned a lot on the way to the Sound. The van held 16 people and there were lovely, scenic stops on the journey from Te Anau to Milford. Since it was small it could park in places big busses could not. The two hours on the 75 passenger boat was all I could have imagined re scenery except no wildlife except seals. I was really hoping for penguins but apparently you have to go during breeding season and that isn't February! Fantastic waterfalls JUST as I imagined!   Tania did a great job on this tour. Lovely scenery. Pricey tour - might be better to self drive. Roads are nice so if we had to do it again we would drive as we already had a rental car. Packed sandwich for Lunch was nice.

  Well organized and expertly led by Garry, who is very knowledgeable, experienced, and an adventurer as well. We would definitely recommend this tour for the fabulous scenery and outstanding quality.

  We booked a more expensive trip than we intended because the price was displayed in US dollars and we thought it was NZ dollars 🤣 but we were so glad we did. Tania was an excellent driver and guide, friendly, funny and informative. I actually think the drive was as good as the boat tour and that was spectacular. Definitely the right decision. To go with a smaller group, early morning from Te Anau. You are probably only going to do this once so do yourself a favour and go with these guys.

  Everything was as advertised, everything was on time, everything was great. Stephen, our minibus guide, was knowledgeable and made an effort throughout the duration of the tour rather than just going through the motions. We had 16 on the minibus and about 50 on the fab boat leg of the trip. The captain and crew were great, there was plenty of space on board and, being a small boat, we could get right up to the waterfall and the rocks with the fur seals on. Out of Milford Sound into the sea we saw a pod of dolphins. Refreshments on the boat were included and a delicious picnic lunch was thrown in too. A full and fun day.

  A full on day with scenic views both on Milford Sound and on the road journey. Gary our driver was very knowledgeable and keen to share his passion of the area with us, We had several viewing stops on the way thoughtfully placed to enhance our experience, including mirror lakes and scenic sites, all fully explained. Gary was keen to speak with the guests and tailor the trip to the days visitors. Brett the boats captain was also very informative and crew helpful. The boat was a good size to be comfortable but not cramped. We had excellent views all the way down Milford Sound helped by good weather. • The Tour to do for Milford Sound

  This was an amazing tour - especially as it was a small group in a small minibus - not packed into a big coach. Our guide Allen was great - full of knowledge and looked after us amazingly. They provide packed lunches (excellent !), tea & coffee - just need to bring your own water. The cruise on Milford Sound was also on a much smaller boat than the big RealNZ ones that you see. Plenty of room for everyone to sit up on the top deck (we had beautiful sunshine), and no fighting for good seat! We were a group of 9, and Allen picked us all up from our Te Aunu accommodation, returning us in the late afternoon. I can definitely recommend this tour out of the many you see - and go to Milford from Te Aunu - not Queenstown - you will save yourself at least 4 hours of sitting on a coach!!

  We had a wonderful experience on this small group tour to Milford Sound. Everything was well organised from start to finish, making the journey smooth and enjoyable. Our guide, Tania, was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humour, which made the long drive feel relaxed and fun. She drove safely and planned the trip thoughtfully, with well-timed stops for breaks and photo opportunities along the way. The Milford Sound cruise itself was excellent — the catamaran was very stable and not crowded at all, giving everyone plenty of space to move around, take photos, and truly soak in the scenery. Spotted dolphins and seals. Overall, a well-run tour with a good guide and a fantastic experience of Milford Sound. Highly recommended!
