Mirror Lakes Walk
A short walk viewing the "Mirror Lakes" where the Earl mountains reflect on the small oxbow lakes. You will take photos which will look the same turned 180 deg. Whilst this can be 1 five minute walk, we allow 15 minutes for you to soak up the amazing scenery

5.00We were picked up directly from our motel, and from the very start the journey to Milford Sound was seamless. Our great guide, Stephen kept us thoroughly engaged, sharing fascinating information and entertaining stories along the way. We made numerous photo stops both there and back, which truly enhanced the overall experience and allowed us to take in the spectacular scenery at a relaxed pace. The boat itself was a spacious catamaran, offering excellent stability. Unlike the larger cruise vessels, ours provided plenty of room to move around both inside and out, making it easy to capture fantastic photos from every angle. Cruising through the fjords was breathtaking , with the captain expertly pointing out key highlights and wildlife along the way. A delicious sandwich lunch was provided onboard, and on our outward journey we were treated to coffee and cake served from the back of the minibus . Overall, it was comfortable, well-organised travel and an exceptional way to experience sights you might otherwise miss if driving yourself.

5.00Excellent tour with Tania our Great guide and bus driver. She was very knowledgeable of the region and very generous with her exclamations. We stopped at a lot of Great places. Lunch was very good. And Milford Sound was fabulous.

5.00We left Te Anau at 7.30am and returned at 5pm. There were only three of us on the tour. The small coach was comfortable and the driver experienced and knowledgeable. Milford Sound was beautiful and I'm very pleased to have gone. There were lots of other tourists, as you would expect. On the way home we stopped at several interesting sites.

5.00We loved this tour! It was very well organized, our guide was our driver too. He was very knowledgeable about the national park and shared many tidbits with us. The tour had a nice tea/coffee/hot chocolate/cake break baked in. They had packed a very nice lunch for everyone as well. The ride to the cruise was spectacular and we had many opportunities to stop and take photos. Allan, our tour guide had many funny anecdotes to keep us entertained during the drive. The cruise was beautiful and we enjoyed the scenery very much! Definitely worth the time and money spent! One of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend!

5.00We loved this tour and the fact it was a smaller group and smaller boat than many of the others we saw. The stops along the way to and from the sound were tailored to our group and our weather. Milford Sound was fantastically beautiful! Stephen, our driver and guide, did a great job with our tour today. He was engaging and knowledgeable about the area.

5.00We got well looked after，with morning tea，lunch ，umbrella，picture stops，and detailed commentary provided. Our guide Tania was fun，very informative， experienced. She enjoys her work. Schedule was packed so not a minute got wasted. However you won't feel rushed either and there is plenty time to fully enjoy the scenery. Bus and cruise departed on the dot， which was great. Our group was medium in size with about 16-18 people，which made it easy for pee stops and everything else.

5.00This is the best Viator experience I’ve ever done! So great traveling in a small group (17 seater van). Great stops along the way to enjoy and photograph the stunning scenery on the way to the boat cruise. Sacha was an amazing guide. Included lunch was great. Boat ride was awesome. Multiple stops for bathroom breaks and even hot tea, coffee and pastries. A+ experience!

5.00The driver was very seasoned, knowing the timings in relation to the other tour operators, and where the good spots for photos were and what the appropriate amount of time for each stop was. The guide was clear on directions for bathroom breaks, timings, and on boarding the boat. And he did this while adding lots of nice anecdotes and background information to the area. I would definitely recommend this specific tour operator to see Milford Sound.
