Mirror Lakes Walk
A short walk viewing the "Mirror Lakes" where the Earl mountains reflect on the small oxbow lakes. You will take photos which will look the same turned 180 deg. Whilst this can be 1 five minute walk, we allow 15 minutes for you to soak up the amazing scenery

5.00An absolutely fantastic experience. Tania our guide was excellent - so warm and friendly and provided just the right amount of interesting commentary. We enjoyed being on a smaller tour which felt less commercial. Packed lunches were great and the stops along the way were just as much fun as cruising the beautiful fjord. Highly recommended!

5.00The tour from start to finish was wonderful! Sasha picked us up promptly at the appointed time, was friendly, informative, and a great driver. The stops along the way to Milford Sound were well chosen and beautiful. The cruise of an hour and 45 minutes brought us through waters as beautiful as I’ve ever seen. I completely recommend Fiordland tours.

5.00The whole day, from pick up on the bus, lunch, sightseeing stops, and boat cruise through Milford Sound, was epic. It is well planned, small group, both on the bus and boat. Tania, our guide, was informative, fun, and super friendly. Highly recommend!!!

5.00This tour was great so great and our guide was outstanding. This was such a smooth and easy experience, with great stops along the way and an epic lunchtime cruise in the sound. While we debated driving in ourselves, we are so glad we did this because we learned so much that we would have missed otherwise. It was also nice that these are small vans, so you actually get to stop and see more than the big coach buses do. Book this one, both the tour and Milford Sound itself are something you will never forget!

5.00Really enjoyed our day. Tania was a very informative and fun tour guide. It was nice being in a small group of people (11) on our tour bus. Tania made a few stops along the way to find us some Kea encounters which was very special. The boat cruise was also a nice sized boat and it was easy to find space on the deck to view the spectacular scenery. The picnic lunch was delicious too!

5.00We were happily surprised by how often our tour director, Allan, stopped the van to show us places and things of interest on the way to the boat trip. He gave us time for short hikes and to take pictures. Although it was a rainy day, Allan's support made it a great time.

5.00My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this all-day tour from Te Anau and consider it an ideal way to experience Milford Sound. Our affable and knowledgeable guide, Garry, regaled our small group with interesting insight about the natural and human history of the region. He has a wealth of experience as a tour guide here and in other countries and has clearly enhanced his scientific background through travel and observation. We feel very fortunate that he was our guide. The road trip was well-organized with sufficient stops for photos along the way as well as restrooms. The 1.5 hour cruise was also very well-organized and gave us ample opportunity to marvel at the stunning natural beauty of Milford Sound. The picnic lunch provided (featuring a sandwich from the Olive Tree Cafe in Te Anau) was hearty and satisfying. Overall a great day and a highly recommended tour. Be sure to book well ahead for the high season.

5.00It was a bit confusing to understand the tour operators when booking. I booked with Cruise Milford for a tour with pickup from Te Anau and a Milford sound cruise, then return. Once in NZ, I understood that my bus ride was provided by Fiordland Tours. Our guide Sacha was the best. She is a wealth of knowledge and happy to answer all my questions. We had many beautiful stops along the way to take in views, the lupins, a morning tea and snack break, kea breaks. Our cruise was great but the whole trip was put over the top by the bus ride with Sacha. Highly recommended, and only 16ish people per tour bus. I would skip the sandwich and save a few bucks. The packed lunch includes a sandwich, apple, chips, cheese and crackers and a Whittakers candy bar. The sandwich bread is quality (seeded) but the sandwich itself was dry.

5.00We got picked up from our airbnb on the outskirts of town and taken to several stops along the route to Milford Sound. Allan was very informative which made the trip fly by. The packed lunch was more than just a sandwich with a packet of crisps, apple, crackers and chocolate also provided. All in all, this was a very good tour and would highly recommend.
