The guide had big knowledge about the local food, he shared interesting facts about the food. He took us to nice places. He was also very friendly, it was nice to get a decent introduction to the local food and culture. He also give us great recommendations. I highly recommend this tour to anybody!

I've been on about 25 tours based on food and drinks from Argentina to Russia and this one was just OK we had one stop for a snack then when to a local restaurant for a meal with the guide ... wasn't really a tour and felt like we just went to lunch with a local wasn't anything about this that was a tour ... guide was nice enough but don't even think he explained what we were doing and never hear him say his name .... wait felt like we took the guide out to his local for dinner and we paid .... guide was nice enough but was a pretty basic "tour"

Trip was cancelled. Bummmed that it did not occur. However the city is beautiful and the food we did have was amazing. Would definitely return.

This was a great tour! It gave access to the Azeri cuisine at its best. Our guide, Enim, couldn’t have been nicer, more knowledgeable and more personable. He explained the various dishes and helped out with the ordering . We ate like kings! Everything delicious and the bill came out to approx USD 11.00 per person. Strongly recommend this tour!

Emin is a very personable guy. We participated in a gastronomic tour of Baku, and thanks to this experience, my opinion of the local cuisine is now very positive. The conversation was relaxed and comfortable, the food excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend him as a guide and the gastro tour as well.

We went to the wrong park and when we arrived at the correct park 11 minutes late (our fault) we waited at the fountain for about 20 minutes before heading to the Gloria jeans across the road to use their wifi to contact the people. We waited until after 2 before we headed into the old town to do our own thing. We eventually had to go and find wifi again yo see if the people had contacted us and they said they were at the fountain but we were told to wait at the statue. We didn’t see anyone with a sign at either the fountain or statue. Our notes said statue and their website said fountain so who knows. We tried to rebook but we are not here when they were available. Make sure you arrive to designated are early and enjoy your if it goes ahead. Very hard to communicate if we don’t have SIM cards and have to find wifi all the time.

Food in Azerbaijan is incredible! I was all by myself but it was still a good experience. The snacks on the little window by the wall were great and the main restaurant as well. Would have been great with more people to try more things though.

The experience was very good, was like being with an old friend who happens to know about the local cuisine. The guide (Emin) was very helpful picking the foods and the drinks in a local restaurant that is mostly oriented to azerbaijanis rather than tourists, which is a plus if you are looking for a more local experience.

The tour guide recommended a modified version of a famous dish since I was a vegetarian. It was pretty good
