This is a private street food adventure through Penang — each guest rides with their own host on the back of a motorbike.
Zip through lively streets, hidden lanes, and night food markets as you taste the city the way locals do — fast, fun, and full of flavor.
Over four delicious hours, you’ll enjoy a 5-course tasting menu, with each dish served at a different hidden spot where real Penangites eat. Meet the vendors, hear their stories, and feel the rhythm of the city as you ride between stops — not as a tourist, but as part of the street.
All food stops are long-established local vendors that we personally visit regularly and trust for cleanliness and food safety.
Muslim-friendly and vegetarian options are available on request.
This experience focuses on authentic local street food. If you’re looking for fancy settings or white tablecloths, this is not for you.
Tours are intentionally kept very small, with personal host for each guest, and are often booked weeks in advance.

5.00John and Din were our riders, they pick us up on time from our hotel. We headed to the seaside to have some sightseeing and had some fresh prawns there, then we when to the street hawker centre to have prawn mee, fried kueh teow and BBQ chicken wings. We also have roti canai at one of the popular nasi kandar shop. We ended our trip with ice kacang and chendol at the New World Park. The ride was fun and the foods were nice.

5.00John was an incredible guide. He took me to some incredible places to eat. I learned so much about Penang and it's rich history as well as the cuisine. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants a personalized food tour. It's well worth the price and you will have some great memories of Penang! Ask for John, you won't regret it!

5.00EXCELLENT Tour. Highlight of our trip. tour guides were superb . since each of us was with a biker tour guide , we each had a personal tour of Penang and got to eat as the locals do., got away from the touristy places. Guides very friendly and informative.

5.00I wanted to see more of Penang and didn’t want to do a walking tour and found this company. Dean, my bike driver was great and I felt safe on the bike. The different food stops were great and represented the diversity of Penang. Very efficient booking and admin as I only booked the day before. The owner Kenny explained that it was a relatively young company that supported local businesses and locals earn a better living and I think that should be supported 100%.

5.00John my designated tour guide was on good form, excited to show me around. We visited 5 carefully selected foodie hangouts, where only locals were eating.. always a good sign. Delicious food, and to my requested taste (not too spicy). Met the chef's and even met Kenny, the Street Bite founder. I was full by the end of the tour and having enjoyed some rich flavours, and warm receptions, it was a nice nite. John is a real gent, and went out of his way to reccommend a breakfast spot for the next morning. Would highly recommend, thanks John and Kenny.

5.00I’ve always wanted to try this kind of ride and it truly exceeded my expectations! The experience was offered at a very good rate, but what made it special was how real and authentic it felt. These are things you would never be able to do on your own like finding hidden street food spots and eating alongside the locals. The rider was professional, very kind, and drove in a safe way. I could fully enjoy the views. I also had the chance to meet Mr. Kenny, the owner, who is such a wonderful man. This tour is not just about food, it’s about courage, culture, and connection. If you’re in Penang don’t miss this it’s an unforgettable experience✨

5.00The tour was well organized and the food stops were authentic & ones that you wouldn't find by your own. This tour really did show the variety of Street food selections in Penang. And you definitely wouldn't leave the tour feeling hungry. I also enjoyed the motorbike rides between the food stops. My host, John, was a gentle driver (this was my first experience on the back of the bike) and did show the evening time in Penang as its best. Highly recommended! Thank you for the experience!
