This is a private street food adventure through Penang — each guest rides with their own host on the back of a motorbike.
Zip through lively streets, hidden lanes, and night food markets as you taste the city the way locals do — fast, fun, and full of flavor.
Over four delicious hours, you’ll enjoy a 5-course tasting menu, with each dish served at local spots where real Penangites eat. See the neighbourhoods, hear the stories, and feel the rhythm of the city as you ride between stops — not as a tourist, but as part of the street.
All food stops are long-established local vendors that we personally visit regularly and trust for cleanliness and food safety.
Muslim-friendly and vegetarian options are available on request.
This experience focuses on authentic local street food. If you’re looking for fancy settings or white tablecloths, this is not for you.
Tours are intentionally kept very small, with personal host for each guest, and are often booked weeks in advance.

5.00We had a great time with John, Jacky and Lee - absolutely phenomenal tour guides and just all around great people. The food and locations selected were diverse and highlighted the best of Georgetown! truly the best food tour I’ve ever been on (and I’ve been on a lot). Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Penang who loves food and being on a bike! Thank you xx

5.00I was looking for an original food tour and I found it! Jacky and his whole team have been in great care with us from start to finish. We discovered dishes and places we would never have found alone or on foot. Beyond the tastings they are people who love their island and showed us with passion! My husband and the kids have a little trouble with English but they still managed to make themselves understood and express themselves and icing on the cake Jacky speaks a little French. A big thank you to everyone and also to Kenny with whom the communication was very fluid for the organization knowing that we had done it at the last minute! I really recommend this experience!

Sampled healthy portions of a lot of different food and scenery that we would not have covered on our own , the riders were extremely experienced friendly and knowledgeable a must if you enjoy trying different flavours and the freedom on a bike thoroughly enjoyable thank-you

Exploring the city on the back of a bike was such a fun, immersive way to get around, and sampling street food along the way made it unforgettable. Our guides Joe and Dean were friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Penang’s food culture — every stop came with great stories and insider tips. We tasted an amazing variety of local dishes, from hidden gems we never would’ve found on our own. Riding through the streets, soaking in the sights, sounds, and smells of the city felt like the true Penang experience. A perfect balance of adventure, culture, and incredible food. We’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting Penang — a must-do if you love street food and want to see the city like a local!

5.00My husband and I signed up for a tour because we have done the same type of tour in Vietnam. It was as great as the Vietnamese! The two men arrived at our condo, which was was outside the pick up zone, before the indicated time, which is always a good indication of their dedication to the tour. We went to 6 markets instead of five because there was an Indian procession which had closed most of the streets around the food court we weregoing to. But after enjoying the snack at the additional food court, we returned to the originally planned food court to enjoy the noodle dishes which we enjoyed immensely. We ended the evening totally stuffed for a dessert that was light but delicious. We would recommend this tour because it’s personal and enjoyable, if you like getting to know the people and their food😁!

5.00What a great experience! We had clear instructions on a meeting point where we were given helmets, followed by a fun ride to our first stop in the north of the island, feeling quite safe on the bikes. The food we were offered at 5 different stops was fresh, tasty and a good representation of local cuisine. Our local riders were very friendly and informative, speaking fluent English. Highly recommend this trip, it was a refreshing change from bus tours and very professionally conducted.
