  Ahmed was an absolute blast and made my very first tour in Bahrain such a memorable experience. From the moment we met him, he was easy to communicate with, incredibly personable, friendly, and genuinely funny. The kind of guide who instantly makes you feel comfortable and excited to explore. He was the perfect welcome to Bahrain, setting the tone for a fun night filled with laughs, great conversation and nonstop good energy. We truly had the best night with him! And the food? Excellent. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen, delicious, and felt like a true taste of Bahrain rather than a touristy checklist. Ahmed’s passion for the food and culture really shined through and made the entire experience even better. How enthusiastically other locals greeted him on the street was evident on what a great person he is. If you’re thinking about doing a food tour in Bahrain, Ahmed is the guide you want. Fun, welcoming, and unforgettable — I couldn’t recommend him more!

  We recommend the food tour with a local guide, Yusf. He took us into all sorts of hole-in- the-wall cafes, sweet shops and restaurants in the souk, the oldest market in Bahrain, to which we would not have dared to venture on our own, for fear of dire gastric consequences! We thought we were already familiar with the area, having spent some time surveying the merchandise in the gold shops, but we toured the market in more depth with Yusf, who took us through the winding streets of the spice market as well. We sampled a variety of culinary delights, surrounded by locals playing dominoes and chatting, while he gave us insights into the Bahraini culture.

  Woo, wou, wou, ¡amazing (una chimba) food Tour! Highly 200% recommended! I booked it on my first day and my first time visiting Bahrain — I loved it. :) I’m truly very satisfied. Great attention to detail and constant communication. They offer an authentic and complete experience, immersing you in local traditions and history, and transmitting a warmth and kindness that is truly unmatched. Every food stop is an opportunity to explore, be surprised, and enjoy an incredible variety of flavors and textures that, as a tourist, you would probably never discover on your own — especially not on your first visit. So yes, it’s absolutely worth it. Oh! And you don’t need to worry about documenting everything — they do an amazing job and share it with you shortly after the tour ends. It’s a very complete and enjoyable tour. Ahmed, our guide, was top, top, top! ¡Muchas Gracias!

  Ahmed made our first food trip very memorable with tastings of tea (Karak, Persian and Lemon) Bahraini halwa, Indian chaat and a Bahraini meal that cannot be missed. Sharing life stories, love for food made the quaint yet unique vibe of the Manama souk very enjoyable.. Must do tour with the affable, food loving Ahmed! Highly recommended

  You can’t miss this. It was insane, we walked past those shops and they were overlooked by us. When we went back with the guide, they became interesting because of the stories and histories behind those shops! Super friendly people and I was SO FULL from the tour.

  This tour with Sharifa was an absolute delicious delight. Not only did we taste universally excellent local food, but Sharifa also taught me an extraordinary amount about day to day life and culture in Bahrain. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to eat and learn in Bahrain.

  Loved this tour! My guide was Jassim. He was great, enthusiastic and very informative. Got to go to places and try things I never would have on my own and learned even more.
