Maiden Tower
As a main sightseeing of Azerbaijan we must to begin our tour from this point. Why Maiden tower? When was built? For what? And how? Waht is that? If you want we might buy a ticket and go to the top of the tower, from where we will observe all the old city part and new city as well. Be aware that tower has a narrow upstaits and no elavator of course))
Open Air Museum
Just next to the Maiden tower and remains of Saint Bartholomew chapel there are an open museum where exibits presented. More than 50 grave stones were found here. Locals cals this please a market place. The place where the merchants during Great Silk road had trayed.

5.00That's great. That's to describe in one word the tour Heydar gave us. Not just to tell some historical facts, but to invest your soul, to show people, a combination of modernity in an ancient city. I don't know how long our interaction lasted: an hour or two, the feeling of you coming to an old acquaintance's house and him lovingly talking about the place he lives. I loved it. I advise everyone.

5.00I recently took a trip to Icheri Sheher (Old City) in Baku, and it was an amazing experience, especially with Nazperi (Naz) as my guide. Her extensive knowledge and storytelling really enhanced my visit. She provided insightful details about the history, heritage, and culture, as well as fascinating background stories about each monument. It was truly awesome!

5.00First flew to this wonderful city of Baku. Choosing a trip were very keen to get acquainted with the history of the country and the sights of the Azerbaijani capital Baku! And in this we were greatly assisted by the wonderful, erudite and very sympathetic guide Heydar. Several times we've been with him on walks around the city, in historic sites and museums. It should be noted that Heydar knows the history of the country and the history of Baku very well. Among the walks through the city and museums, we also visited the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center. Huge center with exhibits and exhibitions. Again this walk was in the company of our guide Heydar. We walked the halls and listened to the history of the country from its founding to the present day. The walk lasted about three hours and left us (once again) with an unforgettable experience of both the center and the expositions and the stories of Heydar! In our few excursions Heydar fell in love with this city, that he wanted to return the ships over and over again, listen to Heydar’s stories and visit new places that we didn’t have time to visit on this trip! Thank you so much Heydar for a wonderful time!

5.00We visited Heydar on a walking tour of Baku in a national mini-group. Everything was very nice. Heydar is a true professional, knows a lot about the city and the history of Azerbaijan in general. It's interesting and fascinating. Answered our questions in a very detailed and informative manner, even those that did not relate to the topic of the tour. Overall a very pleasant and friendly person. I learned about him from acquaintances who also took the tour and were very pleased. I can certainly safely recommend Heydar as a wonderful guide.
