We had the time of our lives. The boat crew was amazing. We stopped at so many islands and experienced different foods and activities. Our group was filled with amazing people and we all became friends by the end. I would definitely do this trip again

We joined a Balabac Island tour with Wanderwalkers. I first heard of them on Pinterest then TripAdvisor Facebook and Instagram. We were diverse group of 10 . 4 from Australia 2 from Germany 2 from the UK and us 2 Filipinos. 4 of us were in our 60’s but we all bonded beautifully. We were picked up at 4 AM in Puerto Princesa and took us 6 hours to get to Buliluyan Port. From there we started island hopping . We did 2 islands, Tangkahan Island and Patawan island. Both very beautiful with blinding white sand. Then we ended in Punta Sebaring island which was our base camp. We stayed in a tepee while others opted for tents. This island had beautiful powdery white sand. Next day was Onok Island. The most beautiful and most photographed and videod island. It was indeed paradise. All the other islands were beautiful as well as the sandbars. Food was good but make sure you bring lots of insect repellent. They had 5 shared bathrooms with pail and tabo for shower. If you’re used to luxury accommodations then this is not for you. If you’re a nature and beach lover and adventurous, then you would love it here!
