Puseh Batuan Temple
The Batuan temple is considered as the oldest temple in Bali Island. This temple was designed with Balinese ornaments and the roof was made from the fiber of the coconut tree with black color. The temple location is strategic, which is on the side of the main road that connected Denpasar to Ubud. For over than a thousand of year, Batuan has transformed into the artist and craftsmen village, old legend, and also mysterious stories.The Batuan temple was built in the year of 944 Isaka or 1020 AD. Almost 1000 years old, this temple can be categorized as Puseh temple according to the concept of “Tri Kahyangan or Tri Murti”. This is also makes this temple as the oldest temple in Bali island.

5.00It's very interesting. Bali is beautiful and the rice terraces is the highlight and the meal in there is delicious Keep in mind that the drive to the terraces and everywhere else is an adventure in itself. I want to specially commend our guide and driver Jun. He did a great job.

5.00A fab experience with our superb guide (Partika) for the day who was courteous, hospitable, kind and informative. His english was flawless, we were so fortunate to have had him as our guide. We chatted and had a laugh all day. The sights we saw were unexpected and the journey shows you a real glimpse of the Balinese culture. Highly recommended for anyone thinking of this. Picked up and dropped back to the ship, nothing was a problem.
