  Got off the ship and was met by Ketuk, who escorted me to his car for the excursion to the Ubud region. First stop was the Hindu temple, which was much more extensive and interesting than I had expected. Then taken to the restaurant overlooking the rice terraces, where I had a wonderful lunch. In the afternoon, visited the waterfall before returning to the ship. An interesting drive, Ketuk was very informative about life in Bali and ensured that I was well looked after. He was an excellent driver and the trip wasn't rushed.

  We had a wonderful day exploring a few highlights of Bali. We were looking for a quick excursion as we were disembarking our cruise in Bali and traveling home 16 hours later. We messaged the company directly asking if they were able to pick us up at the cruise terminal and drop us off at the airport hotel later on that day. Wayan message us back promptly and said he would be glad to do that. We booked our trip and we received a confirmation txt from the driver. We had planned to be picked up at 9:30 am but was pleasantly surprised that the driver arrived earlier than expected so we were able to start the trip earlier than expected. He assisted us with our luggage and we were off for the day. We stopped at a Hindu Temple, the Rice Terraces in which we had lunch here. The food was great! We the. Made our way to a wonderful waterfall on our way back the airport. Wayan was very cognizant of our time and gave us other options of other places to visit. Wayan is a great driver and the vehicle is roomy and had great A/C. It takes a bit of time to travel from place to place due to traffic and Wayan was good at explaining the local customs and any Bali highlights along the way. You basically get a personalized private tour when you book this excursion. We were very well satisfied and happy with our experience. We felt we got a great value for our money and we would recommend this tour to anyone coming in on a cruise or anyone who has a limited time to see a few sites as we did.

  Wayan is a great tourguide/driver who was very generous with his explanations about Bali life Hinduism and his own life experiences. We visited a Hindu temple where he explained the uses of the various buildings. We then had a good lunch with a wonderful view of a rice terrace. We continued on to a waterfall where we could swim, but chose not to. We also asked to see how batik is made and he took us to a lovely workshop/shop with beautiful hand made items. I would recommend t a tour with Wayan.

  I met Gusti my guide and driver @ the port. He took me to see the waterfalls, coffee plantation, rice terraces and temple. I really enjoyed the coffee plantation because of tasting the infamous luwak coffee. Just remember the scene in the movie Bucket List with Jack Nicholson & Morgan Freeman re the coffee. Yes I drank it and bought even a bag of ground coffee. I also had free samples of various coffee and tea. Highlight at this place was the swing high over the cliffs and the rice terraces below. What an exhilarating experience - not to be missed! Gusti made sure that I was comfortable with the pace of the tour and explained with great detail re the areas especially at the temple. I told him that I got bitten by a mosquito the day before behind my leg which was bothering me. Before taking me back to the ship, he stopped by the market and bought me a bottle of medicine for my leg. He went way and above as a tour guide! This is a great shore excursion for cruisers like me and you will have a great time!

  The overall excursion was very enjoyable and the lunch was good. The only thing we would like to feed back is the traffic jam on the way back to the ship. We do appreciate the patient and driving experience of our driver Mr OKO.
