Lempuyang Temple is one of the largest temples located in Karangasem Regency, and has become very famous with its very beautiful view of the gate against the backdrop of Mount Agung. The gate at the Lempuyang Temple is known as the Gate of Heaven because it is true that the photos produced at the Lempuyang Temple are very instagramable and are like heaven's gates. Named with the name tirta ganga comes from the word Tirta which means Holy Water and Ganga which means holy river in India. 5.00Uncle Darma was the guide for Eastern trip! I recommend him to you if you’re choosing the tour. Here’s why; We went to Lempuyang temple, Tirta Ganges, and Happy swing Bali. He was fluent in English and explained about the trip very well. We had so much fun because of him. His driving skill was stable and we arrived at tour places on time. He tried his best to make the trip good. Additionally, he is good at taking pictures! I really appreciate him for his effort. This trip was so memorable and the best!

5.00We have taken a tour of the most important temples of East Bali. Lempuyang, Tirta Tenggara and Besakih. Even though it is August, with all the tourists who go to Bali, Arsa our driver has managed to have a super nice tour and a spectacular lunch overlooking rice terraces. Thank you, Arsa

5.00The only bad thing is that to take your picture at the sky gate you have to wait literally between an hour and a half and two hours and, the excursion is not intended with a stop as big as that. Good thing my kids have photoshopped and they took photos from many perspectives and they can mount one like the one they take there.

5.00Visiting the famous Lempuyang Temple – the Gate of Heaven was one of the highlights of our Bali trip, and having Pak Kris as our guide made it even more special. From the start, he was punctual, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable about Balinese culture and the temple’s spiritual significance. He knew all the best photo spots, helped us take the iconic reflection shots (yes, the one with the mirror trick!), and gave us background stories that made the experience more meaningful. The long wait for photos was made easier thanks to his patience and great conversation. We also appreciated how he kept us comfortable, safe, and hydrated throughout the trip. 5.00A small group of 11 women took this day tour on March 22, 2025. Gusmank was our guide and drive. We visited the Gate of Heaven, Tirta Gangga water palace, and Tukad Cepung Waterfall. Each location was an adventure and Gusmank made it so worth our while. When I return, and book another Bali excursion, I hope Gusmank will be available to be my tour guide once more.
