Enjoy a spectacular balloon flight over the Teotihuacan pyramids at dawn, one of the most impressive experiences in Mexico. See the sacred landscape from the sky as the sun illuminates the “City of the Gods”.
After landing, the adventure continues with a delicious breakfast in the famous and original underground restaurant “La Gruta”, located inside a natural volcanic tube in a dormant volcano.
(don’t fall into tourist traps, this is the original) This is the area’s authentic and most emblematic restaurant, renowned for its completely natural environment inside a cave, which turns the dining experience into something truly unique and special.

4 : 20 a.m. - 4 : 50 a.m. - Pickup from selected Mexico City hotels or Airbnb. From there we will head to the balloonport in Teotihuacan to begin this incredible experience. The exact pick-up time will be confirmed one day in advance and may vary depending on weather conditions and operational logistics.

5:45 a.m. - Arrival at the balloonport. Our team will welcome you with coffee, tea and biscuits as you watch the balloons prepare before takeoff. 6: 10 a.m. Start of the hot air balloon flight. Enjoy a unique experience of between 30 and 50 minutes, reaching heights of up to 10,000 feet and admiring breathtaking panoramic views of Teotihuacan at dawn. 7: 30 a.m. After landing, they will participate in the traditional flying ceremony, which includes a toast with the pilot and the presentation of your commemorative flight certificate.

5.00Not a lot of information on the Tripadvisor app but we received a confirmation WhatsApp two hours later that put us at ease, they offered to collect us but we arranged our own transportation to the location that they gave us. Extremely nice staff and very helpful answering and questions. Experience was incredible and an overall smooth operation. Would highly recommend to anyone else.

5.00BEST EXPERIENCE!!! It is a must if traveling to Mexico City. Hot Air Ballon Ride calm and peaceful . Location Teotihuacan is about 45-60 minute drive from the city. After ride went to La Gruta for breakfast, such a beautiful cave. Guides made it so easy, got picked up in Hotel and taken back at end of tour.

5.00Amazing experience! The hot air balloon flight was beautiful at sunrise. The staff were very helpful, polite, and responded quickly when communicating before the trip. Definitely would recommend doing this experience when visiting Mexico city!
This isn’t the La gruta cave but a separate one. Fun experience overall.
