5.00If I could describe this tour in one word, it would be 'home.' Even though we were thousands of miles away, our guide, Ms. Marie, made us feel like we belonged. Her warm smile and easygoing way of sharing stories felt more like catching up with a childhood friend than a formal lecture. She didn't just articulately explain one of Kyoto’s treasures; she made us feel like treasures ourselves.

5.00The tour was fun, very scenic, it was something I thought that I wouldn’t personally enjoy since I had to walk a lot but it was worth it. What you see in Instagram is what you really get. Marie was entertaining and made the walk bearable haha. Highly recommend this tour.
Great Tour to See the Area and Learn Some History

5.00I decided on a whim to join a walking tour this morning. I opted for the bamboo forest and monkey park tour, and I am happy I did! Marie, our guide, was cheerful and knowledgeable, filling us in on the history of each station we saw. The amount of time we got at each site was perfect, and we got to experience this part of Kyoto in a way we wouldn’t have if we had tried to do this on our own. I highly recommend both the tour and our tour guide. Warning: there are a lot of steps and you climb up a mountain (on a paved path) to get to the monkeys. Wear comfortable shoes, and enjoy!

5.00The weather in Kyoto is already cold and it’s perfect to stroll around the bamboo forest, gardens and the hiking to see the snow monkeys. This tour is one of the best I had in Japan. Our guide Mari is amazing in all aspects ,friendly with a skill of taking great photos. We learned a lot from this tour. Don’t miss the great views in Kyoto ,book this tour to have great experience.

5.00This tour was fabulous!! Our tour guide, Marie was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. She was also very good at communicating with us before the tour so we understood where to meet etc. We had a wonderful day and really enjoyed the Bamboo Forest, visiting the Temples and the Monkey park!
