  The Bamboo River Tour in Ocho Rios was a beautiful and relaxing experience. The scenery was stunning, but what truly made it special was Albert’s amazing service. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make the tour enjoyable. He even stopped for Oce cream and fresh local fruits. Highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

  Excellent all the way around! I traveled as a solo woman and felt safe, comfortable, and had such an amazing time! Mr Albert was great from pick up to drop off. He’s even able to accommodate quick pit stops to local restos if you are interested. I ended up taking a nap on my ride back and he played soothing music lol. I had a great time, my raft captain was fun and professional, and I was safe on the road with Mr Albert from start to finish. I’ll be reach out to him directly next time I’m in St Ann’s ☺️

  Word would not explain how beautiful this was from my pick up at the Hotel to my drop off ! Big thank you to my Driver Albert . He was phenomenal teaching me Jamaica History as we get to destination, made sure i had the best Juicy Patties in town . RAFTING:Amazing beautiful scenery beautiful experience,beautiful people wonderful massage honestly 1000/1000. I definetly recommend don't even think about not doing this. I think if i did not experienced this my trip wlould have not been the same .

  Excellent tour guide, Albert was the best!!! Albert was knowledgeable, kind and friendly. He was very patient and stop at KFC for us to stopping picking Guniep off of the trip for us so we didn’t have to pay! 10/10 Albert was great and so was the Bamboo rafting. The only thing is, they charge extra for the lime massage which would have been too expensive for my family of 5 so we did not do that.

  Albert was the best! Forest I thought this was a group tour but I got lucky! He came and picked me up! Made me feel so safe. Explained while driving and made sure my experience was perfect!   My travel crew couldn't agree on any excursion except this one, and we all loved it! Our host was very kind, experienced, and educated us on Jamaican history on the ride over. The RastaCaptain made our bamboo ride fun, smooth, and relaxing. He took tons of photos, which was appreciated, even stopping along the route for food and drinks.   With so many operators for the same excursion, which do you choose for your vacation experience? Let me help you: Book with AG's Island Tours for Bamboo Rafting in Ocho Rios for a private tour for couples or your small group. Albert met and greeted us with a smile in the lobby of Hotel Riu Ocho Rios, according to the pick-up time we discussed after booking. He suggested we bring one large towel in case we needed it. As a gentleman, he made sure I got in carefully on the driver's side behind him. From the hotel, my husband and I enjoyed a scenic and informative ride to the beautiful, relaxing Rio Nuevo in his clean van. We learned about Jamaica's colorful history as Albert noted points of interest and other sites along the way. My husband and I enjoyed getting to know more about current developments in the local economy, and Albert is very knowledgeable as a business operator and citizen. The engaging ride to the bamboo rafting site was a bonus. Please note the price you pay includes the bamboo rafting and round-trip transportation, unlike other operators. When we arrived, we noticed an immediate difference from another rafting site closer to the hotel. No cruise ship was in port that day, so it was perfect for an afternoon couple's getaway. Crowded or not, the river is peaceful and lush, leading to a quiet beach and bay, a perfect backdrop for a quick photo op off the raft. There was also a spot for limestone massages. Our raft captain entertained us with a fitting reggae playlist, dance moves, and pointing out the river's natural inhabitants, all while safely guiding our raft along Rio Nuevo. The river ride was about an hour in duration. Albert was waiting as we approached to disembark, asking if we'd enjoyed the experience. Absolutely! We were SO glad we didn't cancel it due to the 68% rain chance that day. The weather was perfect! Afterwards, we asked to stop at KFC and Juici Patties for a quick snack. Albert happily obliged on the way back to the hotel. AG's Island Tours gets an A+ from us for a wonderful bamboo rafting experience in Ocho Rios.
