We'll meet at Yaowarat to discover the rich Thai-Chinese culinary marriage that make this district one of the city's most buzzing street food spots. It's not just about the food though. It's about the people behind the plates who have dedicated their lives to cooking on the street.

*Note: Our morning departure times have the same great food and majority of the same stops as our evening tours. Due to the operating hours we use a couple of alternate stops that open during the daytime*

In small groups of up to 8 exclusive guests, our passionate foodie guides take you on a journey around the alleyways of Yaowarat, Bangkok's Chinatown. We don't want to spoil the surprises, but prepare to drool over crispy chive dumplings with nam jim jaew sauce, mop up rich satay with charcoal-grilled chicken, work chopsticks over slow-braised pork, and delve into fragrant steamy bowls of shrimp dumplings and poh taek seafood soup, along with a dozen more lip-smackingly good tastings at places you'd struggle to find alone.

From the first bite to the last, each dish was unique, fresh, and packed with authentic Thai spices. With over 15 tastings, I got a real sense of the diverse and vibrant food culture in the city. This tour is a fantastic way to spend an afternoon, especially if you're a food lover or someone looking to explore the hidden culinary treasures of Bangkok. 5.00We had a great street food tour of the backstreets of Chinatown last night, expertly led by Annie and Ninja from the A Chef's Tour team. From chive flavoured dumplings to pork satay sticks and black soy sauce flavoured ice cream, various soups, donuts and luscious giant prawns, it was a very memorable four hours and we appreciated the explanations of the food's history and ingredients, and the story of the Chinese presence in Bangkok. Looking at the long lines outside each food stall and restaurant we visited, we were glad to have someone guide us to the most interesting places where tables were reserved for our party of seven. Highly recommended.

5.00The tour was great, offering a variety of authentic Thai dishes popular with locals and tourists alike. Come hungry because the portions for each stop are not small. Nood was an excellent guide and the rest of the staff were also very friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had enough water throughout the tour, spoke English very well, and also let us join with our tour group even though we showed up late.
