Our tour was carefully curated and will take you on a journey through the backstreets of Bangkok, mopping up a 15+ taster menu in street spots and eateries that have been serving locals for decades. We'll meet at Yaowarat to discover the rich Thai-Chinese culinary marriage that make this district one of the city's most buzzing street food spots. It's not just about the food though. It's about the people behind the plates who have dedicated their lives to cooking on the street.

We recommend comfortable shoes. Bring rain gear/umbrella, if rain looks likely. There's lot of tastings to try, come hungry!
*Note: Our morning departure times have the same great food and majority of the same stops as our evening tours. Due to the operating hours we use a couple of alternate stops that open during the daytime*

Many are unaware of China's centuries-long influence on Thailand that has permeated much of Thai cuisine. From noodles to stir-fry, it's time to feast on the history of this culinary marriage. In small groups of up to 8 exclusive guests, our passionate foodie guides take you on a journey around the alleyways of Yaowarat, Bangkok's Chinatown. We don't want to spoil the surprises, but prepare to drool over crispy chive dumplings with nam jim jaew sauce, mop up rich satay with charcoal-grilled chicken, work chopsticks over slow-braised pork, and delve into fragrant steamy bowls of shrimp dumplings and poh taek seafood soup, along with a dozen more lip-smackingly good tastings at places you'd struggle to find alone.

5.00A well-crafted food tour hosted by the warm and friendly Noo and Butter. Each of the 15 (yes 15) courses was so tasty and different to the one before, such variety and flavour! Butter looked after us with water, hand wipes and making sure each dish was ready for us. Noo was a fun and knowledgeable hostess, explaining all the dishes along with the Thai culture. With a maximum of 8 guests it was a very enjoyable evening.

5.00Takes you to places you may never find on your own but prepare to be full by the end - but if it isn’t enough you can always ask for seconds of any dish. Ploy was very attentive and knowledgeable. My favorite was the green curry

5.00As a solo female traveller I was originally nervous for my tour. However, once I arrived and met the welcoming guides; Rainbow and Minnet, I was instantly put at ease. The rest of our group were welcoming and friendly too. The information and knowledge that the guides provided was worth the money in oneself, let alone the outstanding quality of food we tried. The restaurants and stands we visited were fantastic and not places I would have gone to alone. This trip boosted my confidence with finding quality food stops and I left feeling very full and very happy!

5.00Ton of fun, Johnny our guide was fun, very knowledgeable, and his English was great. Food was all very good and we got to walk through cool parts of town I definitely wouldn’t have on my own.

5.00This was a fantastic tour of Bangkok’s street food. They gave a perfect variety of places to try, all were fantastic, and our guide Beu was incredibly kind, fun, and insightful. The time went by quickly and showed us a variety of dishes we would not have found on our own. We’d highly recommend this tour to anyone.

5.00My husband and I took a chance and walked along the backstreets of Bangkok, trying different stalls and food we wouldn’t normally eat. Thank goodness we had Anja to guide us!! She and her assistant (Butta?) were fabulous. Informative, kind, and so generous. They even surprised us at the end with a small trinket of a TukTuk for our honeymoon! We learned a lot and ate even more. A Chef’s Tour is awesome and would recommend to anyone wanting to dive into the local culture and cuisine.

5.00Mood was fantastic!!! She was insightful and was able to answer so many questions. She explained everything that we ate so well. We definitely explored parts of Chinatown that we would have missed had it not been for her.
