Visit the street where Rihanna once lived and see the outside of the home she lived in. The next stop will be Cherry Tree Hill for its breathtaking views from there we will make our way to Morgan Lewis Windmill. As we come down onto the coastline we will travel through Cattlewash and make a stop in Bathsheba which was named for its great beauty; it is also the location of the Soup Bowl the favorite stop for surfers in Barbados. Our next stop will be St John's Church one of the oldest churches on the island, set on a cliff and capturing spectacular views we will then journey through St George past the Gun Hill signal station and the great white Lion as we make our way to the Garrison Historic area.

PLEASE NOTE !! If you do not enter or select a pick up location your tour will be cancelled as without this information we can not collect you for the tour. PLEASE submit the name of your hotel or accommodation at the time of booking. If your accommodation is not listed please select the closest hotel to your accommodation. Once your booking is made please then contact us through the message center to advise us of the location you are staying. Please be mindful we only pick up from coastal areas along the South and West Coast unless you are booked on a private tour or your booking is 10 or more persons. In such cases we can make exceptions.
If you suffer from motion sickness, we recommend taking precautions before the start of the tour. Please also advise your tour guide. Whilst we can sympathize and will try to make you as comfortable as possible our island roads can be bumpy at windy. We must also ensure we take care of all our customers and ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle. If you are ill on board, you will be required to reimburse the driver before the end of the tour for the cleaning fee of between US seventy five and one hundred and fifty dollars. Broad Street
Bridgetown. On the 5th of July 1628 that 64 settlers headed by Charles Wolverstone arrived. The location of Bridgetown was the most suitable place for a port. Its swampy lands however made it bad for the settlers’ health. The settlers named the town after a bridge that had been constructed by the early inhabitants of the island, the Amerindians. The Bridge of itself was called the Indian Bridge The principle streets in Bridgetown were laid out by John Swan and in keeping with tradition Swan street was named after him. The main street Broad Street was named Broad Street as it is the broadest street in the town. In the early years the streets in town were ill kept and in 1656 legislature passed and act where persons not keeping the space in front of their property clean could be fined 100 pounds of sugar for each day of noncompliance. Bridgetown's Swamp was filled in and replaced with a canal. The lower part of the Constitution is called the Careenage. It was named the Careenage because it ships were careened on to a side to be repaired

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic day out! Our guide was excellent—knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. Our group ranged from teenagers right through to a 90-year-old, and the tour was perfectly suited to all ages. Highly enjoyable and highly recommended!

5.00I did a 17 day Caribbean cruise in December 2025. In most ports I scheduled some sort of shore excursion. I can say that my Half Day Barbados Tour with Beautiful Barbados Tours and Excursions was the best of the trip. It was the perfect sized group in a nice and well equipped vehicle. The tour was well paced… never rushed, but never unproductive filler just to kill time. I learned lots and thoroughly enjoyed my time on tour. Best of all was the tour guide. If you are lucky enough to get Glyne as your guide, you will be well served. He was super easy to understand, really knowledgeable and proud of his country of Barbados. He had a great knowledge and curiosity about so many interesting things, including many not directly related to our tour or Barbados. I’ve done dozens of tours around the world during my travels and have to say Glyne was one of my favorite guides ever.

1.00Booked a half day Bajan highlights tour with this company at $60 dollar a head. It was badly organised with 3 different groups on the tour, two on the south coast and one in the Westmoreland Hills, who the driver couldn't find. We had been on the bus for 2 hours before the driver announced the tour had started, despite visiting the Garrison and Rihanna's house. We had no comfort breaks till we got to Bathsheba towards the end of the tour. The tour was nothing more than 5 photo stops and was all very rushed, and there was little commentary. Despite some dodgy roads, the driver was constantly distracted by his phone. When we came to pay, there was no facility to pay with a card or contactless, and we had to go to get cash out. We were promised that we would be dropped off by the boardwalk in Hastings Rock but instead, we were dropped off some distance away. We complained through the company we'd booked St James Tours but to no avail. A thoroughly disappointing experience and we'd recommend punters use a private taxi driver for tours at about $50 an hour rather than this company.

3.00Our experience was good driver/tour guide was nice and knowledgeable. We had an issue since some people has different packages than our half day tour and I guess traffic conspired against us so at a certain point we had to wait around for another car to return us to our hotel while the original driver waited for the other people. Also we didn’t see Rihanna’s house.
Glyne is the best.

5.00Great tour with Omar, showing us this beautiful island with so much history! The stops were all for the right amount of time and it was a very nice way to spend a morning in Barbados, weather a little mixed but it didn’t spoil our trip and we managed to stay dry during our stops! Thank you so much, highly recommended!

5.00Our tour guide was extremely knowledgable, fantastic driver and a very pleasant man. We saw all the main tourist sights and got a good understanding of the history of the island.
