We’ll be taking you on a scenic journey around Barbados, giving you the opportunity to experience some of the island’s top highlights — all at your own pace. Please note that the number of attractions we visit and the specific locations included will depend on your tour duration and starting point.
Located just outside Bridgetown, the Garrison Savannah is a historic site and UNESCO World Heritage location that once served as a major British military base in the 18th century. Today, it’s home to the oldest horse racing track in the Caribbean and key landmarks like George Washington House and the Barbados Museum. Surrounded by over 20 colonial-era buildings, it blends rich history with modern-day local life—hosting races, community events, and cultural celebrations.

5.00We had a terrific island tour with Kevin. He picked us up promptly at our hotel in an immaculate and very comfortable vehicle. Kevin was very knowledgeable and shared many facts about the island with us. We are Canadian and were very impressed with his knowledge about Canada. He was very charming and we spend a very enjoyable 5 hours with him. Definitely recommend Ward's Tours for your visit to Barbados!

5.00Our guide Kevin provided a great personalized tour of the island that we enjoyed immensely. We explained the types of things that most interested us and he went out of his way to provide the experience we were looking for. He is very knowledgeable about the island and did his best to answer questions we had. I enjoy photography and brought to some really great spots.

5.00Kevin picked us up from the hotel promptly after arranging the time via Whatsapp the day before. He was friendly, courteous and his vehicle was immaculately clean and comfortable. Over the next 5 hours Kevin took us on a wide ranging tour of Barbados, this was complemented by his interesting stories and facts. Due to very heavy rainfall the previous day, some roads were impassable, however, due to Kevin's extensive local knowledge of the roads, he was able to navigate us safely around the island, despite these challenges. He also takes an excellent photo! We would thoroughly recommend Ward's Tours and happily give a well deserved 5 Stars :)

5.00Kevin was a super cool guide! Great transport. Very knowledgeable and willing to stop at things we were interested in. Offered great rum punch toward end of island tour. Easy to communicate with. Gave us extra time with the excursion. Highly recommend.

3.00Picked up at hotel at 9.30 for a four hour tour. No specifics were provided but we had not stayed on the island before so we’re relying on the driver. Kevin our driver really made the trip worthwhile with his stories about the island and its history. Whilst the island is not scenic inland ( only 300/350 metres at its highest point as advised by Kevin) the coastal views are impressive. Our car was spacious and very clean and conversation flowed both ways as we toured. Bathsheba area was obviously close to Kevin’s heart as he took us to view the coastal area there. This is on the east coast and weren’t drove cross country to the west coast and Holetown . We then drove through Bridgetown and visited the Garrison. Throughout the tour Kevin gave us wonderful tales of the history of Barbados and had no problems with the schedule —- we actually took five hours. I do not consider a full day tour would have been useful unless a stop at a distillery was part of the trip. If you get Kevin as a guide you will really feel closer to Barbados.

5.00Our guide was absolutely amazing! He was so accommodating and made sure we got to do everything we wanted to do without ever feeling rushed. He’s one of those people who instantly makes you feel comfortable — very kind, funny, and outgoing. The car was spotless and comfortable, and he was always on time. What I really appreciated most was that he worked around our schedule — it truly felt like the day was designed just for us. If you’re thinking about booking, do it! You will not regret it.

5.00What an incredible day in Barbados- made possible by Kevin at Ward's Tours Ltd. He went above and beyond to give us the exact experience we were hoping for. We only had a couple of specific requests for the day and the rest we left up to him. Everywhere he took us was remarkable and such memorable experiences. And the couple requests we had for him- were not easy ones for him to find/fulfill but Kevin delivered! We had asked to find a super top-secret place and no one on the island knew where it actually was. But sure enough, by the end of the day, he'd found it and took us there!
