Hop on our shuttle to Savvy on the Bay and board our vessel Tranquility with ease and join us on our 1.5 hour Turtle & Shipwreck adventure in Carlisle Bay.

Carlisle Bay boasts calm turquoise waters lapping on the soft white sand. Under the surface of the sea Carlisle Bay comes alive with vibrant tropical fish in abundance, sea horses, sea turtles, octopus, rays, and much more! This unique array of marine life is due in part to the six different ship wrecks in the water as shallow as 12ft.

After the snorkel excursion we will take you to Savvy on the Bay on Carlisle Bay where you will be provided with a beach lounger, umbrella and a welcome drink drink. Soak in the sea, or lay on your beach lounger and enjoy the sunshine.

Lunch is not included it is available for purchase from one of the food trucks at Savvy On The Bays very popular food truck park.

The 8:45am pick up has a 2:00pm departure

The 10:00am pick up has a 3:30pm departure

The 10:45/11am pick up has a 4:20pm departure

At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time

A minimum of 2 adult's per booking is required

If you suffer from motion sickness, we recommend taking precautions before the start of the tour. Please also advise your tour guide. Whilst we can sympathize and will try to make you as comfortable as possible our island roads can be bumpy at windy. We must also ensure we take care of all our customers and ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle. If you are ill on board, you will be required to reimburse the driver before the end of the tour for the cleaning fee of between US seventy five and one hundred and fifty dollars. Thank you for your kind understanding. This is not applicable to the boat portion of your tour.

If you choose to make your own way back to the port at a later time. The fee most taxis charge is US$5 per person

Join us aboard Tranquility Cruises. The boat has 2 washrooms on board, a bar and an upper and lower deck with lots of seating. There is a glass bottom area for those who prefer to stay on board and enjoy the sights bellow. Tranquility is also equipped with life vest, snorkel and mask for those who wish to get wet and explore a shipwreck or swim with turtles and fish. An extra treat for kids on board is the boats waterslide. Our Turtle and Shipwreck Cruise is 90 minutes long. The cruise departs from Carlisle Bay. Well organised. Great experince. Fully recommend it. We did this a couple of years ago and the experiece was even better this time.

We had a good time and saw lots of fish and some turtles. Drawback is that it was too crowded with multiple tour agancies looking at the same shipwreck. The description mentions multiple areas to view and we expected to take the boat to multiple stops but you just swim in the same small area. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Pick up at the cruise port was easy. We drove a short distance to the beach where we were given clear instructions for how the day would progress. Beach area was beautiful with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. We boarded the boat right from the beach which was pretty easy. We went out about 100 yrds from shore and were given instructions on the snorkle gear. We were able to see 2 ship wrecks as well as a turtle. My only complaint was that there were numerous other boats in the area and that we did not go very far from land. It was crowded when we were looking at the turtle. I would have preferred a smaller group, but that is my preference and not a negative for this tour. I would recommend this tour if you are looking for a nice beach day with the added snorkeling.

A great way to spend half a day! The bus was waiting on us at the cruise port and took us straight to the beach with the AC blasting. We had about 45 mins to chill at the beach before we had to meet up to get to the boat. We were on the boat for about an hour, hour and a half. We got in the water at 2 separate places. Then, when we got back to the beach, we had about 2 hours to kill until it was time to go back to the cruise terminal. There are many different food trucks offering food and drinks. Highly recommend. FYI, if you want to eat, plan on it taking about 30+ mins to make your food and plan accordingly.
Can’t recommend enough!! Fantastic time had by all!

Very well organised. Collected us and other passengers from the cruise port and took us to Savvy on the Beach. Fantastic beach with reserved sun loungers and delicious free rum punch. The snorkel trip was great fun and the team were very patient and encouraging to any nervous passengers including a couple of small children. We all had a great fun time and can’t wait to do it again when we return in 2028. We will be back!! Thank you team x
Beautiful beach, poor visibility in the water

The white sandy beach was beautiful however the water was very murky. The visibility to see the turtles was very poor. We saw 5 turtles, but we could only see 1 of them well. The shipwreck was ok and there were quite a few fish in this area.

Areally good way of enjoying beach time at Carlisle Bay with cruise port transfers. The boat trip to snorkel and hopefully see turtles was excellent. Savvy on the Bay is a really nice spot on the beach. We have used Beautiful Barbados before and can highly recommend their tours.
Disappointing Day!

Have booked this tour several times in the past and recommended it to many fellow cruisers. However today's trip was very disappointing. Far too many sun loungers crammed together making access very difficult and no personal space whatsoever. Cruise was very poor. Usually go all way along coast to Hilton Hotel but only went out to wreck. Saw no turtles and my mask failed which led to me seeing nothing. I reported it immediately but no one replaced the mask until the session was basically over. When returning to shore without cruising along coast, I questioned the Captain as to why the whole trip was not fulfilled to be told too much time had been spent looking for turtles. I made a complaint before leaving the beach and the driver was asked to take my details on returning to the Cruise Port but he refused to on arrival! I felt very much that I had not received what I had paid for!! Sadly I will not be booking or recommending this trip again.

This trip was not as I expected. Both boarding & getting off the boat was pretty dangerous as it was from the beach & you need to be very sure footed. A couple of people on our trip ended up in the water when getting off on the beach. We were not very far out, which was not made very clear, so the snorkelling area was pretty crowded & the chances of seeing a turtle were very limited.
Basic but relaxing. Something to do.

I'm glad we did it but it was quite basic. 2 snorkel stops - the first about 100 metres offshore over a very small shipwreck with lots of small fish, the 2nd stop closer to shore to see one turtle embedded in the sand below us although a crew member did dive down with my camera to get a close up of the ninja. Then 2.5 hours on beach. I guess ok for £45 per head. Getting onto the boat from the beach would be impossible for anyone with mobility issues.
