It is difficult to anticipate when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. Typically, major attractions experience long queues during peak travel periods such as summer, weekends, Christmas, Easter, and local holidays. By purchasing a skip-the-line ticket, you can bypass the queue if there happens to be one. Unfortunately, it is impossible to predict specific days and times when lines are likely to form.
To ensure safety, all visitors are required to pass through metal detectors at the security checkpoint. Please anticipate a wait time of approximately 20-30 minutes to clear security.
In order to enter the Sagrada Familia Basilica, visitors are expected to dress appropriately as it is a Catholic church. Tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts, or sandals are not permitted. Additionally, visitors are not permitted to enter the church wearing clothing intended for celebrations or festivities.
Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
Customers must bring an ID to prove their age. If you cannot show the correct proof of age, Sagrada Familia will not allow entry, and you won't be able to get a refund.

5.00Great informative tour. It was a small group tour - about 8 people. The tour was in English . Luis was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and knew all the good spots for taking pictures . He gave us time to enjoy the views without rushing us to get the next part of the tour. Overall - great experience!

5.00Would recommend taking this tour, Eduardo our guide was fantastic and showed us lots of things we would have missed just walking around. Small group of 9 was perfect and skipping the queues was well worth it. Small tip if you are visiting, do so after 10.30am when the sun comes through the stained glass windows, amazing light!

5.00I believe this is the most incredible man made structure ever. I don’t say that lightly, I’ve visited approximately a dozen different countries and seen most of the famous structures- Eiffel Tower etc. Sagrada Familia blows them away. It is fulfilling on so many levels - spirituality , emotionally , mentally, visually , and physically !! Luis our tour guide was outstanding. Such depth of knowledge and nuance. Alerting us to significant details otherwise easily missed ! He was also very personable and kind, a top notch guide. . The place where the tour starts is also conveniently located right across the street from the Sagrada Familia.

4.00Chaotic to get organized, but I understand they were herding 20 cats. Information was ample and fantastic, very thorough historic and artistic perspectives. Our guide was knowledgeable and polite. 2 hours, but we came away fulfilled.

5.00Flawless organization from start to finish— just be sure to read the booking details carefully. The Sagrada Familia absolutely exceeded my expectations. Choosing the guided tour turned out to be the best decision: it was packed with fascinating insights and stories that really bring the grandeur of this masterpiece to life. Great job, Luis! Although the organizer’s website mentioned a visit of about 1 hour and 40 minutes, we ended up staying for nearly 3 hours—happily exploring on our own to fully soak in the magnificent atmosphere. Truly unforgettable, and I’d go back in a heartbeat!
