Our guide Berta was great. Pointed out interesting points and subtleties of the city as we walked from tasting locations. The tapas were varied and plentiful. We finished the tour with full bellies.

I am a little bit of a foodie and always enjoy these type of experiences when I travel. That being said this one in Barcelona was particularly special. Not only was the food amazing but the rich history and architecture was inspiring. Berta our guide treated us like family and it really did feel like you had an aunt In Barcelona and she was taking you out.

This was the best food walking tour I have done. Hugo was our guide, and he was great! Very knowledgeable of the area, and he picked some great places. He was also great about accommodating some group members who walked a bit slower. We stopped at 3 spots, each one better than the last. We were a group composed of the USA, Scotland, Canada, and Albania. We all had such a great time conversing over delicious food and wine. The food was plentiful, so bring your appetite. The wine pairing were very generous pours. I was there as a solo traveler, and I loved getting to chat with people from all over. Book it! You won't regret it.

My wife and I were in Barcelona for just a few days and wanted to get a feel for the local food. We lucked out in the offseason that it was just us two on the 5 pm tour! Hugo brought us to three tapas restaurants in the Gothic Quarter and El Born areas of Barcelona, gave us a little bit of history, and gave us a great sample of tapas in Barcelona. He even added a quick detour to try some white wine out of a porrón since we flew through our tour with only two of us and it was early for most restaurants to be open so they weren't crowded yet. We left our tour completely full, as the small plates were still decent portion sizes and included some heavier foods (patatas bravas, egg and potato tortillas, croquetas, etc.). We also got a drink at each spot so we were feeling pretty good at the end as well. There are plenty of great tapas restaurants you can try for yourself in Barcelona, but if you want to learn a little history about the Gothic Quarter and the dining culture on your first visit to the city, this is an absolutely worthwhile tour!
