On this walking tour of Barcelona's El Born and Gothic Quarter neighborhoods, you may eat as much as you walk. Follow your local foodie guide as you visit four of the city's best tapas bars to sample food and drinks typical of the Catalonian region. As you sip wine and nibble on small bites, hear more about Spanish culinary traditions and get plenty of inside tips from your guide on where to eat and what to do during your time in Barcelona.

Meet your guide at the Plaça Sant Jaume in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter to begin this 3-hour culinary walking tour. As you head to your first tapas bar of the day, chat with your local guide about Barcelona's cultural legacy, its gastronomy, and the historical landmarks as you see. Stroll the streets where Antoni Gaudí and Pablo Picasso once walked as you get to know the history and the flavors of the Catalonian capital city.. Jostle for space with locals in some of Barcelona's most vibrant tapas bars and learn about tapas etiquette, like how to order and how to share, from your guide. Sample dishes like Iberian ham, various cheeses from around Spain, pimientos de padrón, the spicy patatas bravas, traditional grilled bread with tomato, fresh octopus, and several other dishes accompanied by fine local wine pairings and the best company. After a sip and a nibble, it's time to move onto the next spot and repeat the delicious process. Visit four of Barcelona's best tapas bars/restaurants in total, then bid your guide farewell at the end of the excursion with a full stomach and a deeper understanding of Catalonian cuisine and culture. Vegetarian options are available, and food allergies and preferences can be accommodated — simply list them in the Special Requirements field when booking. Private tour available. 5.00Our family of five and our friends with a family of six shared this experience and loved it. Perfect way to experience Barcelona like a local and visit restaurants/bars we would never have visited ourselves. We visited four different locations in the old city and stayed in each for approx 30-45min. Each location had a unique drink and appetizer waiting for us. Our guide Nacho was incredible and became part of our family. Such an incredible way to begin our Christmas 2025 adventure in Spain! Gracias Nacho!!

5.00We had a tapas and wine tour with Berta and were mega satisfied! The selection of tapas and wines was excellent and perfectly matched. Berta accompanied the tour with a lot of passion, knowledge and good mood – you immediately noticed how much she loved her job. The atmosphere was relaxed, personal and just really nice. We learned a lot of new things, ate and drank great and had a lot of fun. Absolutely recommended for those who love good food, wine and authentic experiences!
