On this walking tour of Barcelona's El Born and Gothic Quarter neighborhoods, you may eat as much as you walk. Follow your local foodie guide as you visit four of the city's best tapas bars to sample food and drinks typical of the Catalonian region. As you sip wine and nibble on small bites, hear more about Spanish culinary traditions and get plenty of inside tips from your guide on where to eat and what to do during your time in Barcelona.

Meet your guide at the Plaça Sant Jaume in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter to begin this 3-hour culinary walking tour. As you head to your first tapas bar of the day, chat with your local guide about Barcelona's cultural legacy, its gastronomy, and the historical landmarks as you see. Stroll the streets where Antoni Gaudí and Pablo Picasso once walked as you get to know the history and the flavors of the Catalonian capital city.. Jostle for space with locals in some of Barcelona's most vibrant tapas bars and learn about tapas etiquette, like how to order and how to share, from your guide. Sample dishes like Iberian ham, various cheeses from around Spain, pimientos de padrón, the spicy patatas bravas, traditional grilled bread with tomato, fresh octopus, and several other dishes accompanied by fine local wine pairings and the best company. After a sip and a nibble, it's time to move onto the next spot and repeat the delicious process. Visit four of Barcelona's best tapas bars/restaurants in total, then bid your guide farewell at the end of the excursion with a full stomach and a deeper understanding of Catalonian cuisine and culture. 1.00Wish I could leave a good review. My friend and I were very excited for this and upgraded to the smaller group and the alcohol pairing. Day of the tour my phone data was not working and we ended up walking in the wrong direction and ended up running a little late. I texted back the number they sent which was never replied too. Then a number called and told me that they would leave and we could meet at the first spot. Well she planned to email the location and i did not have data so i asked to get the place and she told me it was "la tienda la primera" which was not the location and not helpful. I called the number back which was their main number and it kept taking me in a loop of waiting on hold. After 20 minutes of wandering and no contact on the other end of the line we decided to give up and make our own tour. I did think it was a little crazy to not give me anyway of reaching the tour guide themself or the small tour not even waiting 5 minutes for us to arrive.

5.00Philippe was an amazing guide! He took us to amazing restaurants and in between showed us many historical sites and explained some of the history of Barcelona. Would highly recommend to everyone visiting!

5.00Entire class was Very well organized! Clean working stations for cooking!! Great experience walking to market and selecting fresh seafood! Two chefs were very patient with group! Easily understood chefs talking! All members participated in cooking process! Highly recommend!!! Chefs were great leaders!!

5.00Outstanding experience with Hugo. Enjoyed his history story-telling behind the food offfereongs and the cuisines. A special attraction. Not just the fine tastings but the history, evolution and importance of food in the region. Wine, tapas, breads, Iberian hams.

5.00We loved our guide Andres and enjoyed meeting new people (wonderful American tourists) and discovering the Born district. We appreciated being introduced to Vermouth and bought a bottle as a souvenir of our trip. We thought the food was average but that did not detract from the experience.

5.00Love our evening with Ori! We had a nice stroll thru the gothic quarter and el born with some quaint stops off the beaten path. the dessert at the last stop was my favorite thing that we ate.
