Escape the bustle of Barcelona with a guided bus tour to the breathtaking Montserrat mountains.

Meet your guide in the city center and enjoy a short, scenic bus ride to the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, explore the stunning mountainside monastery and learn its rich history.

The tour ends with an included ticket to the basilica.

After which you then have your 3 hours free time: hike the hills, savour a buffet lunch with panoramic views, or visit the museum. We recommend taking the funicular (extra cost) for unforgettable vistas.

After your adventure, return to Barcelona in the afternoon, 6 hours after departure.

Be aware that in the summer months the transport is normally a coach, and in the winter is usually a minibus.

Please note:

"Monastery" refers to the entire complex, not just where monks live. This is included in the tour

"Basilica" (literal church interior) is included

"Throne Room" with the Black Madonna is not included.

Guide very knowledgable and interesting. Good picture of the History of Catalonia. Very patient and friendly. Felt safe with ghd driver even though I dont like mountain roads. Thank you both. Worth going for the views alone.

Lots to see and do while visiting! It was pouring rain and cold but I still had a great time. I paid extra to see the Black Madonna up close and to enter the museum ( not included in tour I purchased). Well worth the extra money! Your guide was knowledgeable and the transportation from the meeting point to the monastery was clean and had plenty of room!

The trip was pleasant, but the guide very unpleasant and sometimes unpleasant. The minibus was comfortable and the driver very friendly.

We got to see snow the entire time. Funicular was closed because of it, but it didn't matter. 3 hours to roam around was plenty for a small hike, take pictures, build a snowman, shop, eat, and relax on the ride back to central Barcelona. Francisco was a great and knowledgeable guide!
Definitely visit Monserrat! Worth the money! Specular views! !

Francisco was helpful and informative. Incredible outdoor and spiritual expedience. Differing levels of physical demand. Really glad we did it. Worth the money. Four hours was not enough time. Go in the morning lines on road to get in longer in afternoon.

Make sure you visit this place during the week and not at holiday times, it is beautiful but very rushed , the place was shrouded with fog unfortunately, but this is something that cannot be helped, it is what it is. That said. It's a fantastic place to visit nonetheless but please be aware you are paying silly prices for anything that's up there, including food.
