Marvel at the wonder of these mountains, and the stunning history of the area.
First, meet at a bar in the city centre, where you are able to purchase a relaxing breakfast or coffee before we head out. Then after a bus ride up to the bottom of the mountain, we continue up the beautiful mountain roads, all the way up to the magnificent Montserrat Monastery.
Enjoy many photo opportunities as you gaze at the beauty of the mountain, before having a history tour of the monastery level. After, there is free time to either go hiking in the magical hills, enjoy an all you can eat lunch looking out over mystical views, or explore the museum and discover all about the history of this famous landmark.
Then it is back on the bus as we head back to Barcelona where you can experience an evening in the city.
Please note that tickets to Basilica, Throne Room & Choir are not included! Yet we heavily insist on buying ticket to these in advance for anyone wanting them

5.00Fabulous tour to Montserrat. The mountains are stunning and it was a picture perfect day. Loved every moment. The bus trip was super comfy with great commentary from Marc. Lots to see and do once you get up to the Monastery. Next time I'll take my own food to speed up not standing in cues for food and grabbing more time for hiking instead.

5.00Great outdoor hike with beautiful views. It is a hike so not appropriate for those with poor endurance, mobility issues, strollers. Our tour guide Francisco was very good.

4.00We traveled by bus from Barcelona to Montserrat on a Viator tour. While we enjoyed the bus tour, we were very much impressed with one of the guides - a 23 year old young man from Surrey, England named Ewan. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, but it was his compassion that was noteworthy. My partner and I are handicapped, and Ewan went out of his way to make sure that we were able to negotiate the rough terrain along the way. Ewan offered his arm to my partner, who walks with a cane, to help her on the way back to our bus. Please recognize him in an appropriate manner.

5.00I just came back after a fantastic trip. Our guide was Francesco. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. Very approachable and friendly. The place is stunning and the walk is absolutely gorgeous. Do not miss this. Also, francesco even helped me get a cab after the trip... He was super kind. Will recomenf this trip to anyone visiting Barcelona. It's very reasonable too.
