5.00Our tour guide, Jordie, was terrific. Not only did we get a fabulous food tour, but he also gave us a condensed version of the foods from neighboring countries that influenced Spanish cuisine. We started with a stop at Colmena, this amazing bakery that had been owned and operated by the same family since 1849. I am still salivating over the pistachio croissant that I didn’t get to try. We then visited a really local neighborhood market with a tasting of different hams and cheeses. On to a tapas bar with three different tastings….one was a meatball croquette, another was an interesting sliced eggplant dish and then a pork stew. The tour ended with a generous portion of seafood paella and sangria. Plenty of food and great information from Jordie.

5.00Having taken Secret's tours all over the world, our time spent with Jordi in Barcelona was one of the very best experiences we've had. He's incredible. There's no doubt that Spain has some of the best cuisine in the world, but it was also his sense of humor, his knowledge of the city and his ease with the group that made this a very memorable experience. If you take Secret Tours in Barcelona, please do ask for Jordi. He's a gem.

5.00We had a wonderful time on the tour. Jordi our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the food and the history of the area. Highly recommend the tour as Jordi showed us the best authentic, local places staying away from the touristy restaurants.

5.00Out tour guide Jordi was phenomenal! He had a great depth of knowledge about the city and the food. He also went out of his way to find accommodations for people with dietary restrictions. Come hungry, you will get a lot for your money. You will also need at least 3.5 hours between its start time and another activity.

4.00We had a fantastic food tour with our guide, Jordi! He is a native of Barcelona and took us to amazing restaurants where the locals eat. The food was delicious and plentiful, and his knowledge of the city, its culture and food was so interesting. He went out of his way to make us feel like his honored guests and was an incredible host. I would highly recommend a food tour in Barcelona with Jordi.

5.00This was the first thing we did after arriving in Barcelona. The meeting point was easy to find and our guide Muriel was personable. We enjoyed stops at a pastry shop, local market, tapas bar and restaurant for seafood paella. We had plenty of food and drink and Muriel provided info on the sights we passed as we walked from place to place. We had a good group on our tour and enjoyed drinks with them after the tour ended.

5.00George was an awesome tour guide! I have been on several food tours all over the world and they are always the highlight of my trip! This one was no different! George gave us a history lesson and guided us around the city giving us tips and recommendations for the rest of our trip! I highly recommend this food tour and if George is your tour guide it will be the best!

5.00Jordi was an amazing tour guide, mixing in interesting history about the city with background on the food we were trying. We made the mistake of doing this on our last day in Barcelona. Learn from our mistake and book it early in your stay so you can take advantage of the helpful tips and recommendations.
