5.00Three generations enjoyed this experience together! Educational and a lot of fun. They were accommodating to an under age child in terms of sangria. It was the best tasting paella that we had in both Madrid and Barcelona.

5.00Muriel, our guide, was terrific! She showed up early, was incredibly personable and knowledgeable about the food we sampled, and the city in general, and had a don of practical and real world experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with her. Her English was also superb.

5.00Jorgi our tour guide was above and beyond to bring us such a great food tour experience. He brought great energy to add to the tasty food that was provided from the churros to pickled anchovies and the main atrraction of the Paella. Defintely recommend this experience especially with Jorgi to have a good time while getting some of the best local food Barcelona has to offer Muy Bien!!

5.00Miguel was an amazing guide. Very kind and knowledgeable. His choices to represent Barcelona were spot on and we were thankful he only took us to local family owned eateries. I highly suggest everyone visiting Barcelona for the first time so this tour. And do it early on in your stay as he provides you with many recommendations.

5.00Our tour guide, Jordie, was terrific. Not only did we get a fabulous food tour, but he also gave us a condensed version of the foods from neighboring countries that influenced Spanish cuisine. We started with a stop at Colmena, this amazing bakery that had been owned and operated by the same family since 1849. I am still salivating over the pistachio croissant that I didn’t get to try. We then visited a really local neighborhood market with a tasting of different hams and cheeses. On to a tapas bar with three different tastings….one was a meatball croquette, another was an interesting sliced eggplant dish and then a pork stew. The tour ended with a generous portion of seafood paella and sangria. Plenty of food and great information from Jordie.

5.00Having taken Secret's tours all over the world, our time spent with Jordi in Barcelona was one of the very best experiences we've had. He's incredible. There's no doubt that Spain has some of the best cuisine in the world, but it was also his sense of humor, his knowledge of the city and his ease with the group that made this a very memorable experience. If you take Secret Tours in Barcelona, please do ask for Jordi. He's a gem.
