This is a small-group Barolo wine tour designed to avoid crowds, rushed schedules, and tourist tasting rooms.
Visit carefully selected, family-run wineries in the Langhe hills of Piedmont, where you taste DOC and DOCG red wines and learn directly about local production.
Travel in a private, air-conditioned minibus, not a large bus, with adequate time at each stop for tastings, lunch, and photos.
Enter traditional wine cellars, be guided directly by the producers, and taste in a cool, quiet setting — comfortable even in summer.
Between visits, enjoy vineyard views and small historic villages typical of the Barolo area.

Alba
Alba is known for its historic charm, excellent cuisine, and the famous White Truffle Fair, held on weekends in October and November. Explore the medieval towers and the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the town’s main cathedral. Browse local shops for some of the world’s best hazelnut cream, or enjoy lunch in a small, traditional restaurant serving Piedmont specialties such as fresh egg pasta and veal with tuna sauce.
Barolo
Visit a family-run winery in a panoramic setting surrounded by vineyards. Enter the cellars and learn directly from the winemakers about the production of Barolo, a strictly regulated wine made only from Nebbiolo grapes, with precise rules governing vineyard location, aging, and classification. Discover how each hill and vineyard has its own name and character, influencing structure, aroma, and aging potential. Taste at least six DOC and DOCG red wines, sometimes seven, including Barolo, during a guided tasting focused on quality, terroir, terroir expression, and local tradition.

5.00Stefano (and the trip) was amazing. We had a wonderful time in Langhe traveling from Milan. He shared great history of Milan and the northern Italy region. The authenticity was the best part, focusing on more local and less of the mass tourism areas really was such a boon to the experience. Also loved talking about rock music and getting some new bands to listen to
A truly unique experience that combined history, truffles, food, and particularly great wines. Truly exceptional.

5.00I had soooo much fun!! I learned a ton about the Barolo wine region and truffles. We also had a surprise event option which wasn’t listed on the event itinerary and truly… it was more than I could’ve expected. I absolutely loved it!! Stefano is so fun and informative! His company is new and truly deserves your attention before it blows up and is too difficult to book… which it will! So don’t wait! Xoxo

5.00From the first stop in La Morra for coffee and early morning wine to the amazing lunch in Alba (best pasta ever) to our final stop in Barberoso, it was a truly amazing day! People were super friendly everywhere we went and the wine was superb! As an added bonus, we stopped at a hazelnut farm and had some samples, and we got to sample some delectable truffle treats in Alba. Stefan, our driver and guide, was super chill and very knowledgeable! We’ve done wine tours all over the world - I would highly recommend this one!

5.00Loved the small group tour feeling. Stefano was an amazing guide filled with the knowledge I never knew I needed about Milano and more. I appreciated the stops and the long lunch break in Alba. I would have enjoyed visiting 2 wineries instead of one. The amount of time and seeing so many vineyards along the way it would have been nice to compare.

5.00This was an absolutely fantastic trip through the beautiful Piedmont countryside. The scenery alone made it worthwhile — rolling hills, vineyards, and charming hilltop towns that looked like they came straight out of a postcard. One of the highlights was visiting a hazelnut farm, where we learned about the local production and tasted incredibly fresh products. We also stopped in the lovely town of Alba and had a delicious lunch that perfectly showcased the region’s cuisine. The true standout, though, was the hilltop winery visit. The tour was informative and engaging, and the tasting was generous — they definitely did not skimp on the wine! We were able to try several excellent wines while enjoying breathtaking views over the vineyards. Overall, this tour offered the perfect combination of scenery, culture, food, and exceptional wine. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Milan!
