We ended up with a private tour, and had an absolute fantastic time with our guide throughout the caves and the waterfalls. Swimming in the crystal clear waters of Barton Creek was probably the highlight, but the entire day was amazing. And totally child friendly/child-captivating.

We took his trip as part of our honeymoon package with Gaia and Matachica Resorts. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the caves and Belizean culture and the whole experience was amazing. We also went down to big rock falls on our own, which was a short walk from Gaia Riverlodge. That was one of our favorite experiences during the whole trip. Highly recommend!!
