Our guide John, met us at our hotel and gave us a 2 hour tour of Basel, Switzerland. He showed us historical places and funny things. Both sides of the Rhine River, the cathedral and the old wall surrounding Basel. Ending with a ride on Basel's public transportation. He patiently answered all our guestions and was an excellent guide.

I was surprised by how much history and beauty there is behind Basel. I’ve been to Switzerland twice, but it was my first time in Basel, and taking this tour with Switzerland Viva Tours was a great choice! Our tour guide, Ion, was very knowledgeable, kind, and funny. My teenage children had a lot of fun, and the three hours went by so quickly. We loved it!

Fantastic city tour, in less than 3 hours we managed to see all the main places and always with lots of information. We even tried their traditional biscuit along the way. Just go for this tour!
