5.00Our guide John, met us at our hotel and gave us a 2 hour tour of Basel, Switzerland. He showed us historical places and funny things. Both sides of the Rhine River, the cathedral and the old wall surrounding Basel. Ending with a ride on Basel's public transportation. He patiently answered all our guestions and was an excellent guide.
Basel surprised us in the best way!

4.00I was surprised by how much history and beauty there is behind Basel. I’ve been to Switzerland twice, but it was my first time in Basel, and taking this tour with Switzerland Viva Tours was a great choice! Our tour guide, Ion, was very knowledgeable, kind, and funny. My teenage children had a lot of fun, and the three hours went by so quickly. We loved it!

5.00I had a great experience with this tour! I was looking for someone to show me around while traveling solo, and this ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. Exploring Basel with a knowledgeable guide made me feel like I was walking around with a friend who knew all the secret corners, fascinating stories, and details I would have completely missed on my own. It was the perfect introduction to the city. We went to well-known landmarks, as well as hidden spots filled with local anecdotes and unique facts. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated the personal attention and how it was tailored to my interests. My guide made me feel welcome and shared great tips for the rest of my stay. I left the tour with a deeper appreciation for Basel and a list of places to revisit. I enjoyed the experience so much that I booked a second tour with the same agency to keep exploring more of Basel. Both tours gave me such a genuine connection to the city, far beyond the usual tourist highlights. 5.00We had an extra day in Basel and went for this tour. As the title says Basel might be not as popular as other swiss cities but is for sure a hidden gem. We loved to stroll through it and having a passionate and welcoming guide made our experience even better. Well worth the money

5.00Julianna was fabulous! She was incredibly knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. She was very generous with her time, and we loved the overview of Basel. We never felt rushed, and it seemed like we were with a friend who wanted us to genuinely experience the best of the city.
