This is a specialized tour that showcases the heroism and valor of those who fought in World War 2 here in the Philippines. Besides visiting the main attractions listed, we will also visit the diffetent battle markers and get to know the stories of tge Death March as told to me by my grandfather who survived the ordeal.

5.00It's about a three-hour drive from Manila, so that includes an hour of lunch break. It takes a full day, but you can see a variety of historical sites with friendly and attentive commentary on the modern history of the Philippines and Japan.

1.00Warning- be careful trusting JB! My family and I did a tour with him Jan. 2024 (refer to my previous review)- he appeared friendly and professional. As a result- I booked a future tour with him Nov. 2024 and PayPal him deposit of $200 US dollars. Due to bad weather and hurricanes- tour was cancelled. I have been waiting and requesting monthly for my reimbursement and NEVER received it and it’s been 1 year. Very disappointed and ruined any future planning!
Excellent whole day tour.

5.00Excellent tour! Probably the best way to see and learn about Bataan during WW2. Our tour guide and driver were very savvy and knowledgeable. They were also very accommodating and picked us up in Quezon.

5.00John Carlos is a very well-informed guide, knows the history thoroughly, and there are many dates, names and figures to recount. He's an excellent driver, and there are many hidden sites to visit on the long peninsula. John is polite, very personable, and a great guide. We learned so much about this important and tragic history and the brave legacy of the Filipino and American soldiers and civilians.

4.00I woke up in the Villa Amuntai, the hotel I was staying in. For breakfast, I had bibingka, and then I headed towards the Bataan World War II Museum, to see some history. When I arrived, I walked in. It was very cool looking at all the different guns and statues of famous people from the war. I even saw a group of statues huddling around a table, strategizing! I stayed there for about 3.5 hours (I woke up at 6:57). Then, at 11:12, I decided to start looking for a place to eat lunch. I found a cute restaurant called Wa Nam Restaurant. I ordered Fried Rice & Asado. It was very yummy! Then I decided to swim a little bit. Or go on a boat ride. I decided to do both! I went to Five Fingers cove! Unfortunately, it was a 1 hour and 20 minute drive. However, that wasn’t going to stop me! I rented a car to get to Bataan (I previously was in Manila) so I drove there myself! By the time I got there, it was 1:18 ( I took around 56 minutes to get to and eat at the restaurant). But I didn’t care! I started to swim in the water. It was pretty warm and it was fun. The rock formations were undoubtedly beautiful. I got in a boat and made some new friends! The people here are very friendly and kind. I almost stayed for 5 HOURS! It was 5:39 by the time I got in my car again. For dinner, I went to the Pupung Grill. I had Pork Sinigang, which was hearty, very tasty, and warm. It was like 26 degrees Celsius outside but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. When I finally got to the hotel again, it was 7:58! I went to bed, feeling content with my adventure in Bataan.

5.00Amazing 2-DayTour with the wonderful Jb Quemado. I recommend his services with all my heart. My husband and I had a wonderful time visiting historical spots learning important history which Jb presented very well. I am a history buff and my husband is a comedy person. Jb was perfect for both of us!

5.00JB was very knowledgeable and friendly. If you are interested in WW2 history this is definitely something you'll want to do while in the Philippines.

5.00A very good history lesson based on events in WW II. John and our driver arrived on time and ready for a full day of touring. John was excellent at answering all of our questions in great detail and dept. this tour helps keep a love the history of all the Americans and Philippines who died in or endured the Japanese death march. It is a long day but well worthwhile.
