The main French structure in the city will be seen on this tour, and the guide will teach history and Cambodian language as well. We will explore the countryside by traveling past fruit plantations, and rice fields, and explain how they grow, stopping along the way to talk with children and farmers about how to raise vegetables. Ridding on original bambootrain and visitors can watch and taste rat barbecue on the way to Phnom Sampou. Experience with climbing up hill to see killing cave, viewpoints, some temples on the summit. Afternoon Tuk Tuk tour departures at 12:00pm. Start with pick up at 11:50am from your accommodations or restaurants. After that, get to know your guide and share with you about history, culture, religion, agriculture, folk tales and some main tips of Cambodia and Battambang. Then, continuing to see some main beautiful historical buildings, central market, provincial hall and the symbol statute of Battambang (Ta Dambong Kra nhoung).

5.00Samol was a super good guide and very helpful all through the tour and answering any questions. He is super passionate about his country and wanting everyone to experience everything about Cambodia and in particular Battambang all the way down to the fruits, foods, cultural sites and its history which he knew in great detail, Samol was super friendly and also humorous and took loads of photos of everyone to remember the experience by. He even dropped off my friend’s cap later that night when he forgot it 😁. Can’t thank Samol enough and would 100% recommend him and this tour to anyone wanting to experience Battambang to its fullest and also learn lots along the way.

5.00This was a great tour! I can thoroughly recommend Samol as your guide. We did so many interesting things in a short time. He has a lot of energy and enthusiasm and explained a lot about Cambodia to us. We enjoyed everything - the group was great, the transport in Wendy tuktuk was fun, the meal in the village was tasty and good value, the bamboo train ride was fun, the bats were absolutely amazing and we learnt a lot from Samol about the killing caves which was grim but important to know. Samol was very well organised and we fitted everything in without feeling rushed. If you do one thing in Battambang, do this tour!

5.00Learnt a lot on this tour. Bamboo train and bat cave were really cool to see (didn’t know there were millions of bats that exit the cave!!) Our guide Samol was full of energy and really knowledgeable. He answered all the questions we asked him and was really excited to tell us about the history of his country!

5.00This was an amazing trip. I really enjoyed it. It was so interesting to learn about the history and to drive the Bamboo Train. The Bat Cave was amazing, i would have never imagined to see that many bats. Samol was really a great tour guide, planned everything perfectly and always looked out for us.

5.00We had an amazing day with Samol. Not only is he an excellent and safe driver, but he is also knowledgeable and passionate about his city and country - never again will I mispronounce Battambang! Everything was as outlined in the itinerary and all ran a smooth as clockwork. The 7 hours flew past as there was so much to see, do and hear about. We arrived back in Battambang, tired but very happy. We also really appreciatedreceiving the photos on WhatsApp. Thank you for an excellent tour, Samol.

5.00We spent the day exploring Battambang and learning not just about the city itself, but about Cambodia’s history and culture as a whole. We visited so many incredible places, including the Killing Caves, the bamboo train, the suspension bridge, and ended the day watching the bats fly out at sunset — which was absolutely amazing and something we’ll never forget. Our tour guide Samol was fantastic. He has so much knowledge and was incredibly passionate about teaching us about his country, its history, and its people. He explained everything clearly, answered all our questions, and made the entire experience both informative and enjoyable. This tour gave us a much deeper understanding of Cambodia and made our time in Battambang truly special. Couldn’t recommend Samol or this experience highly enough.

5.00Samol is a dedicated guide who speaks good English and told us a lot about Cambodia's country, society and culture. In particular, the experience with the bamboo railway and the excursion of a huge flock of bats is very impressive. Everything was well organized the food in the local restaurant good and cheap. The trip is 75 km long and is strenuous by tuk-tuk.
