The fishing on the bay is great fishing, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Whiting, and many others, including Red Fish. Bay fishing trips primarily target tasty sand trout and whiting but customers will also have opportunities to catch red drum and black drum. Customers can also bring their own gear if they desire, but Captain Murphy’s will not be responsible for it.

All persons fishing, ages 17 and older are required to have a valid Texas Saltwater Fishing License. You can easily purchase a fishing license online by going to Texas Parks and Wildlife website and Fishing License

They concealed at the last minute I did not have my phone with me to see the call or the voicemail. I booked 1 hr prior to them leaving the voicemail. They should have followed through or not let me book that day.

Great experience with great price. I caught a shark and it was fun to reel in. We are going to cook it and see how it tastes. Thanks again for a great time!

The captain and crew were amazing. They were very knowledgeable and patient with my kids. I brought 4 little kids on board and they even helped by catching a fish themselves and letting my 5 year old reel it in. Cesar and David are awesome!

Caught a good stringer of fish that they fileted and we took to Joe's in Port Isabel to have them cook them up for us! Great experience
