Just before De Kelders the coastline gets rougher with rocky beaches and limestone cliffs which flatten out onto sandy stretches of die Plaat.

5.00Great 3.5 hour ride through the nature reserve and then out into Walker Bay. Had a fantastic gallop along the sands. Well behaved, forward going horses. Tip: Check the meeting point as it was not at the main office.

5.00Excellent beach ride. Enjoyed every moment, horses well trained and very good team leader. The views are spectacular from mountains to sea side. Yes, running on the beach was one to remember. Thank you for making my day MAGIC
Horse Riding Experience 🐎 with Magnificent Views

5.00Had an adventurous horse riding experience in December 2024. The horses were calm & confident, the team lead was relaxed, which made the ride feel safe and enjoyable. 🐴 Plus, the experience was good value for money, three hours at a decent price! The views along the dirt path leading to the beach are magnificent with very few vehicles passing by. However, heads-up: it’s a one-hour ride to the beach and another hour back. No toilet stops along the way. 🚫🚽 I wouldn't recommend this for beginner riders, take a shorter horse ride instead. If you’re comfortable on a horse, this is a fun outing! 🌟

5.00Wonderful horses, I loved Pico. Very spirited. The ride to the beach was full on wildflowers, and when we got there you could see the whales frolicking. Randall was a nice, relaxed guide.

5.00I'm a quiet experienced horserider myself. But I have had a severe accident at high speed a few years ago, and I'm scared at very high speed. The 2 guys who were with me on the tour could cross over the beach, the guide did really care about me and stayed a little behind with me so I could canter on a more steady speed. It made my experience wonderfull! I have never been horseriding on the beach and I loved it, thanks to my wonderfull guide! But experience is required!
