Pick up hotel name must be advised at time of booking. If hotel name is not provided, and the tour is missed, full cancellation fee will be charged.
The tour departs Port Denarau at 10:00am and returns at approximately 5:00pm. Guests will enjoy around 6 hours on Beachcomber Island. Please note that this does not include mainland hotel transfer time. Hotel pick-ups will commence approximately 2 hours prior to departure, depending on your hotel location. Upon return to Port Denarau, transfers back to your hotel may take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, again subject to your hotel’s location.

1.00DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY. THEY PRICE GOUGE AND ARE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN BOOKING DIRECTLY WITH THE OPERATOR. WE BOOKED A TOUR FOR SOUTH SEA CRUISES AND ROSIE’S PRICE WAS 20% MORE EXPENSIVE THAN BOOKING DIRECTLY. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH ROSIE’S, JUST GO ONLINE AND BOOK IT YOURSELF

2.00The lunch was nothing special, and the afternoon snorkeling was cancelled. However, we probably wouldn’t have gone anyway, because the morning snorkeling ended with almost the entire group being badly stung by jellyfish larvae. The local staff did not warn us at all that jellyfish larvae could be present in the area. They did not offer any snorkeling suits or protective clothing, nor did they advise us to bring our own or at least keep a T-shirt on. If anyone in the group had been allergic, I honestly wonder how the situation would have been handled. The snorkeling itself lasted only about 20 minutes, which was also disappointing. Another part of the program was “traditional dancing,” but this felt rather awkward. The performers were members of the staff who clearly did not enjoy performing, and the whole show felt forced and chaotic, without traditional Fijian songs. The beach itself is nice, but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate either, as it rained the entire afternoon, however, this does not lower my rating. Overall, the trip is not worth the money they charge for it

4.00The island was beautiful. The food was good and the snorkeling lovely. Now the negatives: the snorkel trip consisted of 15 minutes in the water. The ladder to get back in thr boat did not extend into the water and was therefore difficult for someone like me (68 y.o.) to use. The included "tea" consisted of hot water, tea bags, and a tray of costco-like cookies. I couldn't even determine what kind of cookies they were. There was a huge rain storm on the trip back to Denerau and there was no way to close off the opening between the cabin and the fore deck. Everyone got soaked.

4.00We had a very good day in a beautiful setting! The staff were so friendly and the day passed so quickly as there was so much to do. Two recommendations from me is quite simply more beds and sun shades are required as they were all taken by resident guests before we got off the boat and the snorkelling equipment was limited and quite basic. Apart from that we had a great day!

5.00This is definitely one of the best day trip experiences when you want snorkelling plus other activities. It was well organised, friendly staff and the experience on the island was really great without it being over crowded. Lunch was excellent, turtle private tour was incredible and two snorkelling sessions, each different but amazing. Would highly recommend this tour if you want a bit of everything and not just be on a boat the whole time.

5.00We had Luke from Rosie Transfers take us home from the Port to our resort after a day at Beachcomber Island. Luke was amazing, kind and a great driver. He answered all our questions gave us some lovely insight about the villages and other things we passed and asked about. He was a safe driver and made sure others around him were too. Couldn’t recommend Luke and Rosie’s Transfers any more!!!

5.00Beachcomber island was truly amazing. The boat can be a little underwhelming when compared to the larger boats that do day trips but do not let that deter you. The boat is to get you to the destination and a smaller boat means limited travellers. When you arrive the island looks like paradise. We swam all day in the crystal blue waters and took part in the glass bottom boat and a snorkel out further. The kids loved looking at the turtles they look after on the island. We watched as they weaved the kids a hat. Lunch that provided was delicious. The whole day felt like a private secluded island paradise. Highly recommend this trip if you want a smaller more private tour.

4.00the island had good snorkeling. food was okay. limited chairs/seating. I feel it should have been longer stay at the island being it took a long time to get on boat/organized/get back, so too little time on island.
