May-November .Meet your driver-guide at your hotel from Brasov in the late afternoon and set off by air-conditioned minivan or car ,and you will go by car for about 40 minutes in the forests around Brasov .

As you travel, gain fascinating insights into the brown bears, hearing how they can grow to enormous sizes, with some males reaching up to 770 pounds (350 kgs). Learn about their lives in the wild, and how their sharp sense of smell is vital in ensuring their survival.

We will meet with the Rangeer who will show us the rules that we have to respect in the habitat of the bears.Then we will walk about 20 minutes or with a jeep to the observatory . Here we will see the brown bears in their environment. We will photograph males, females with chickens and their interaction.

We will definitely, 100%, see bears.

After about two hours, we leave the observer, we will return to the van.You will be left in Brasov at your hotel.

In Romania we have the largest brown bear population in Europe, about half of this population (6000 bears) live in Romania. For about 2 hours we will be standing with brown bears in the Transylvanian forests. Rangers accompanied by deep in the forest and in an observer we will see the free bears in their natural environment. We will see adults, females with cubs and their struggle for survival in the natural and wild environment. We'll be able to see deer, foxes and wild boars

It was wonderful! Shortly after booking, a guide contacted us and the anticipation increased. When the time came, everything went smoothly. From the drive through a very impressive landscape to the observation point...the tingling became more and more. I received a lot of valuable information about the area and the history. Traian, the guide, was very dedicated. I felt comfortable! We changed trains, a ranger took us to the observation point. What a spectacle! Just great! Bears! Wonderful animals! I had a lot of fun and... the guide Traian played a big part in it. Thank you very much! A trip I won't forget!

A great tour and highly recommended! The organization and communication even before the tour was easy and fast. Our guide Traian told us a lot about the bears on the ride and explained sights and gave tips. The drive to the observatory was already an adventure. We were then able to observe bears for about 2 hours and each new bear (6 in total) was also introduced to us in character. Traian has answered all questions about the country and people in detail and dropped us off at the end right in front of the hotel. This tour is truly a highlight!

We enjoyed this Tour from start to finish. Traian our guide was professional, punctual, knowledgeable and went that extra mile to ensure the Tour was first class. The bears themselves are incredible, we saw 7 or 8, a mixture of Male and female together with 4 foxes. Thanks Traian we thoroughly enjoyed. Tim & Jenny

I really enjoyed this trip, the guide was very knowledgeable on the history of the landscape and building in and around Braşov. Seeing 8 bears in total was incredible. The guide also provided binoculars to view the bears at a close range

We really enjoyed our bear viewing experience! It was rainy going to the park, but it cleared up nicely once we got situated in our "hide" The viewing area was protected from the elements (like a glass fronted cabin really) and bears would come to feed in viewing distance. I particularly liked the interaction of bears and the cunning little foxes. It was definitely the highlight of my trip to Romania.

A pear feast for the bears. A little fox came by hoping to find meat. Great Inn pickup and drop off at the Inn. Impeccable. I recommend. A little expensive 90 euros...but it's not every day that you can see bears in the wild.

It was an amazing experience, the bears were very close to us and we could see them well. The Guide Traian Bichea explained and tell us all about the brown bear community in Romania. Although the cabin from where you see the bears has no ventilation or AC so if you go during summer it is very hot 🥵

It was really great. We saw nine bears in total, and eight at once together. The guide, Claudiu, provided plenty of information on Romanian bears. Recommend.
