On this day tour you will experience Auckland's fascinating volcanic landscape, get a taste of Maori history and discover the wonderful West Coast, the home of Maui Dolphins, Seals (Kekenos) and native bird life.
An Impression of Auckland you will not find in your travel guide!
Leaving the crowds behind us, we will travel through the Kumeu wine region to the wild West Coast. Enjoy the wonderful nature on a walk through mystic rainforest before reaching the 60 km long black sand beach.
Stop for a picnic with an amazing view over the Tasman Sea and if you are lucky you will see playful Maui Dolphins, sunbathing seals and about 3000 Gannets looking after their chicks (August-April).

5.00This was a really nice tour. We wanted to see some of the more natural landscape of Auckland. Convenient pick-up. We went to the west coast of Auckland and saw the coast and drove/hiked through beautiful scenery. We especially loved seeing the gannet colony. I'd highly recommend this tour!

5.00It was a wonderful tour of the Mercer Bay Loop, Piha Beach and the Rainforest. Gesa was very knowledgeable of the area and she made it really fun. She is a wonderful guide. I highly recommend this tour if you want to get out of Auckland and see some beautiful scenery.
See beautiful areas of New Zealand away from the crowds with a great local guide!

5.00Gesa customized a tour for us that included Piha Beach and Kitekite Falls Walk so we could see gorgeous parts of New Zealand that are not on a typical tour. She provided lots of interesting information to help us gain a better understanding of what we were experiencing. She is very personable and flexible and wants to make sure you get what you are looking for from a tour with her. We would absolutely go with her again. It was a great way to spend time in New Zealand.

She took the time to individualize our trip so that we could explore the black sand beaches of Piha while also taking a nice stroll through a west coast rainforest.
