Salsa music and dance are a big aspect of the Puerto Rican lifestyle and culture. Learn the basics of it with or without a partner in a 1-hour beginner class! The park where the class is held is very centrally located with on walking-distance many bars and restaurants to have dinner and/or go out at night and practice what you have just learned!
Your instructor is a talented, fun and dynamic dancer. Take your chance and learn from the best, have fun and enjoy!
You will be guided through the first steps of Salsa dance at a beautiful outdoor location. After your class you will be ready in no time to hit the dance floor!

4.00was fun to do though a bit short. would suggest 1.5 hrs so it didn't feel as hurried and get a bit more practice in. Instructor was friendly and clear.

5.00Taking a salsa class with Steve and Miguel in Puerto Rico was absolutely incredible! 🌴💃 The energy, the music, and their passion for dance made the experience unforgettable. They created such a fun and welcoming atmosphere — whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, they make everyone feel confident and comfortable on the dance floor. I left smiling, energized, and with new moves to show off! Definitely a must-do experience while in Puerto Rico. 🇵🇷✨

5.00Steven is very punctual he arrives to his class 1/2 hour before it begins. Not on Island time. Anyone from a cruse to from across the Island visiting from anywhere in the world can take an UBER easily to the Lagoon with ease and back to Old San Juan.

5.00We had such a great time at our salsa class in Puerto Rico! Our instructor, Kayra, was so friendly and an amazing teacher. She made it easy to follow along and made everyone feel comfortable, even though our group was small. It was still super fun and never awkward! She also gave us great recommendations for places to go practice our new skills around the island. The park where the class was held was really nice too—perfect atmosphere for dancing!

5.00Michi was a great instructor and taught us beginners all the basics to get started—we can’t wait to learn more! Our group had 8 people which felt like a good size. Bring a towel because you’ll get sweaty on a humid San Juan afternoon!

5.00We had such an amazing experience in our salsa class with Steven! The other students weren’t able to make it, so it ended up being just my husband and me — and Steven still taught with the same passion and energy as if the room were full. He’s an excellent instructor who truly loves what he does. His teaching style is practical, clear, and so encouraging. We left the class feeling confident, inspired, and excited to keep dancing. Highly recommend taking a class with Steven!
