In the very early morning ( Around 6 a.m , exact pick up time to be confirmed once booking is made) ,Your local friendly driver will hold your name sign waiting for you at your Shanghai hotel lobby and enjoy the easy ride to Shanghai railway station and check in your bullet train to Beijing (The train ticket will be pre-booked for you and bullet train ride about 4.5hour).

5.00Although this was a very long day, it was so worth it! Picked up by taxi by Charlie who escorted us right to our seats on the train. Travelling at over 400km per hour first class on a very clean, smooth train with snacks provided was something never experienced before. Our guide Sophia was waiting for us at the station in Beijing & escorted us to a taxi & stayed with us for the rest of the day. She was friendly & knowledgeable, her English was excellent & we enjoyed her company immensely. She guided us every step of the way, given how time limited we were, we couldn’t have done it without her. The traffic on our return was very heavy but Sophia escorted us to the platform. & made sure we made the return train trip. Our taxi man Charlie was waiting for us at Shanghai train station & took us back to our hotel. This trip is not cheap but well worth it. Things to note, the stop for food on the way up is not cheap but is served swiftly. The climb to the Wall itself is very steep & not suited to people with walking sticks or any mobility issues. Wear good walking shoes & use insecticide spray/wipes. Would highly recommend.

5.00Great trip to the Wall of China with Crystal(our guide) and Charlie (our driver). Crystal was very articulative about her instructions and updates about Beijing and the Great Wall. Took care of timings very well as the trip was very short. Though we took the trip from Shanghai and that made it a bit tiring with a long day, it was very well worth it ! Sunny (the tour operator) kept us fully informed of every step of the way. Surely recommended.
