Take about 1 hour’s drive from Beijing airport to Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu Great Wall is one popular section of the Great Wall but less crowded than other sections, well-known for its beautiful surroundings-the dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of the year. You will have the option to take a cable car or chairlift up and either return by cable cer or take a thrilling toboggan ride down. After the tour, transfer back to airport or airport hotel.

Mike's Guide & Driver Service

The driver will pick you up at your location. Normally it takes 1.5 hours to get the Mutianyu Great Wall, the start time is flexible. But on weekends or holidays recommend you better start earlier to avoid the crowds and queueing, the admission ticket of the Great Wall is included. When you arrive there, the driver will help you scan the QR code of the Great Wall admission ticket. (Because it’s E-ticket). There are 3 ways to climb the Great Wall : 1: Chairlift up and toboggan down, save both time and labour, easy and funny. 2: Cable car up and down. Save both time and labour, easy and convenient. 3: Walk up , it takes about 40 min. But the chairlift up toboggan down or cable car is not included. If you need the driver will help you to buy it, which is 140yuan per person. Normally people will stay 3 hours at the Great Wall, but this is flexible, depending on your time and strength. Then the driver will tell you where is he going to wait for you. Thank you !!!

Had a day free after my cycling trip, and booked with Mike a day before to visit the Great Wall of China! The driver was safe, and the guide was very helpful. Highly recommend their service.

Great service, our guide was very friendly and spoke good English. The car was clean and very comfortable. I recommend going very early before the big crowd arrives. We started from our hotel at 7. It was perfect.

I loved the tour, the guide who assisted us gave us a lot of information and made the visit very enjoyable. Mike, who we spoke with to order it, was very communicative and very kind to answer any questions!
Very professional and wonderful team🤩 the water offer and small gifts were very nice. 😍😍the driver was very polite😇

We've lived in China for almost 3 years now and have gotten to the Great Wall other ways but once we discovered Irene we will choose her every time and recommend her to friends. Her English is great and her driving is smooth, safe and doesn't make us carsick (unlike most didi or taxi drivers here in China). Her car is spacious and comfortable. Irene has a permit to drive right up to the entrance of the cable car. This is a huge bonus because otherwise you have to walk through a tourist street and queue for 15-45 minutes to take the shuttle bus up to the cable car entrance. She'll also help you buy your tickets for the wall and cable car so you don't have to wait in line. In the past, we've had other drivers who drop us at the park's main entrance and we had to wait in a longer line for tickets, walk a bit, wait in line for the shuttle bus and take the crowded shuttle bus ride up to the cable car entrance. With Irene, you could save over an hour and the headache figuring it all out. Also this past time we were fortunate enough to see with Great Wall with SNOW! Irene still got us there safely even though it snowed earlier that morning.

We were lucky because the day was marvelous and the views breathtaking. The service we received from Irene was outstanding, from the real beginning... Always controling time as we had a traon to take in Beijing south station she made our tour even more enjoyable. When our credit card did not work in the ATM machine and seeing our helpness she even called some friends with a credit card machine to help us... Irene is a very kind and helpfull person, so, if you ate in Beijing she is the right person to take you around with very reasonable prices... Thanks for making our day memorable Irene...
