Maximize your time with our Beijing full-day tour to tick off three World Heritage Sites in one go: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, and Great Wall. We’ll handle everything, from hotel pick-up and drop-off, entrance fees, lunch, to the Great Wall cable cars or chairlift+toboggan rides.
- Conquer the Great Wall of China at the less-crowded Mutianyu
- Explore Beijing’s central axis: Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City
- Seamless, door-to-door hotel transfers
- All-inclusive and no extra charges: entrance fees, cable cars, and a buffet lunch included
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
Specialized infant seats are available
Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Tickets to the Forbidden City require a real-name reservation 7 days in advance and are easily sold out, so you are advised to book the tour as early as possible. Otherwise, international travelers will need to line up at the entrance to buy tickets.
We offer free pick-up within the Third Ring Road of Beijing, beyond which there will be an extra charge, so we suggest you book centrally located downtown hotels. Please get ready at the hotel lobby at least 5 minutes in advance of the pick-up time confirmed with you a day before. No-show is non-refundable.
Please provide the correct passport information for booking the real-name tickets. Make sure to carry the same identification when travelling; otherwise, you’ll be refused entry by the scenic areas.
Group Size: About 12 people. There are chances that 10% of the tour groups will exceed 12 people but we’ll make proper arrangements.
Departures are guaranteed with two persons from Mar to Nov and three persons from Dec to Feb.
Since the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, we’ll arrange Summer Palace instead of Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

I had the pleasure of having Jenny as my tour guide for this trip. She was wonderful - energetic, knowledgeable and patient. She was able to answer all our questions and more some. It’s been a while since I’ve had such a great tour guide. If you have the chance to be blessed by Jenny’s presence, you will be very lucky! 5 Stars!

This full-day tour is a marathon of Chinese history, but absolutely worth the effort. The sheer scale of Tiananmen Square is humbling, and walking through the Forbidden City feels like stepping into a living museum. The intricate details of the architecture are breathtaking. The highlight, of course, is the Great Wall. Climbing its steep steps is a physical challenge, but the panoramic views from the top are simply unforgettable. It’s a powerful reminder of China’s ancient engineering marvels. Be prepared for a lot of walking, but the experience is a perfect snapshot of Beijing's imperial past.

My tour today started on time. The driver, Mr. Lee, picked me up at the scheduled time, exactly 0740. Then we picked up the tour guide, Jenny Liang, at another stop, and we went straight to the first part of the tour, Tiananmen Square, the Imperial Palace, and the Forbidden City, the temperature was -9C/15F, no snow or rain, but a cutting wind. It was a holiday so there were lots of students and families, but it wasn’t overcrowded for a Saturday. The tour was more than advertised thanks to Jenny. While walking, she gave an excellent presentation of history and facts. She carefully explained the architecture, the beast statues, the relationship of man and woman, sun and moon, sky and earth, the reasons why the imperial palace was built the way it was. She explained the exquisite stone carvings, the trees, and the coral that was brought in. She explained why the Emperor’s thrones were huge and all the writings on each building and above each throne. She answered all my questions with clarity and passion. It was information overload that was perfect. I regret not bringing a recording device to record all the information Jenny gave. She also doubled as a photographer using my phone or hers to take photos of me. When we drove to the Great Wall, it was a welcome respite from all the walking. Mr. Lee’s driving was very smooth because I actually fell asleep, good nap. We stopped for lunch before taking the Wall. I went with Jenny’s recommendation and rode the chairlift up. Jenny was right, the views are much better at the top than if I took the gondola. The Wall is more than what’s read about in books or online. You have to stand on it, put your hands on the carved stones to really appreciate the engineering. Jenny explained it all, the reason it was built, the material used, the distances between the battlements, the length of time it took to build, the people that designed it, the people conscripted to build it, and she answered all my questions, again with clarity and passion. I told Jenny she would make an excellent history teacher a few times during the day. I had a choice to take the toboggan down, but the queue was a Disneyland style 1 hour, so I took the ski lift back down. I came here to walk the Wall, not for the toboggan ride. The drive back to the hotel was smooth thanks to Mr. Lee. I would take this tour again, opting for the smaller group size. I highly recommend Jenny as the tour guide and Mr. Lee as the driver. You can’t go wrong with a smaller group size because you get more personal attention and engagement. Just make sure you request Jenny and Mr. Lee.👍🏽

We had a great day visiting the Summer Palace, Lama Temple & Temple of Heaven with Candy! She is very easy to understand & gave us so many interesting stories & history about everything. We also visited the Hutong district & rode in a rickshaw! That was really fun! This tour was the 2nd day of the 2 day tour which also covered the Great Wall, Forbidden City & Tiananmen Square the day before. In these two days we saw the best of Beijing. This company has excellent customer service & communication.

Stepping into Tiananmen Square first, the vast open space hits you with a sense of grandeur and calm. The red walls of the Tiananmen Rostrum stand tall against the sky, and the quiet dignity of the surrounding monuments makes every step feel meaningful—no rush, just slow walks to soak in the historic atmosphere. Crossing into the Forbidden City, the endless red walls and golden roof tiles unfold like a living history book. We strolled along the wide, flat stone paths of the central axis, pausing to admire the intricate carvings and grand palaces, no steep steps or uneven ground to worry about. The soft light filtering through the ancient eaves, the quiet courtyards tucked beside the main halls, and the distant view of the golden roofs stretching to the horizon all blend into an unforgettable experience. Every corner whispers stories of the past, making the walk both peaceful and deeply immersive.
