5.00Anson was our tour guide. He was great. Very knowledgeable and understanding of our tastes. Knows the local area and restaurants well. Recommend this tour and Anson in particular. Well worth the money. Don’t eat before the tour as you will be very full by the end! The food was amazing. Thanks Anson.

The food was amazing and was the perfect amount. Andy also went above and beyond - I had a few dishes I wanted to try and Andy sourced these for us. 5.00Our food tour experience with Mike was the highlight of our time in Beijing and China as a whole so far! He not only took us to eat delicious and local food, he also explained the history behind all the dishes, restaraunts, and streets that we walked through. We are so grateful that Mike gave us the chance to taste food and learn information that we otherwise never would have on our own, and we have already been back to 2 of the stops from our tour because they were so yummy. Mike went above and beyond and really made us feel welcome, and made us appreciate Beijing even more.

5.00Our family of 3 had a great time with our tour guide Mike. He helped us sample a big variety of local food, catered to our tastes, and also gave us background on the food and the neighborhoods we explored. It was fun and super delicious.

5.00We had an incredible private food tour in Beijing with Miko as our guide. From start to finish, he was knowledgeable and engaging. What really set Miko apart was how he went beyond just tasting dishes — he explained the historical and cultural significance behind each one. Miko also has a fantastic sense of humor. He kept the tour light and fun, balancing deep historical insights with plenty of laughs along the way. It felt less like a formal tour and more like exploring the city with a very knowledgeable friend. Another highlight was that he intentionally avoided the typical tourist-heavy spots. Instead, he took us to places we never would have found on our own — authentic, local establishments that truly represented the heart of Beijing’s food scene. The pacing was perfect. Miko thoughtfully structured the experience to give us time to walk, explore neighborhoods, and digest between tastings, which made the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable rather than rushed. 5.00Our tour with Andy tonight was fantastic! We chose the pick up option and he and the driver arrived right on time. After a short drive we began our culinary adventure. We had the opportunity to try so many different foods that we probably wouldn’t have found on our own. We also got to hear the history behind the foods and the neighborhood we were walking through. I highly recommend this tour especially for first timers to Beijing!

5.00So glad we booked this tour! We arrived in Beijing late in the day so we had some time to do a night tour of some sort, and the food tour sounded fun. It ended up being perfect, in large part because we had just a perfect guide in Jack. He was delightful, accommodating, knowledgeable, patient, funny, and experienced. We went to a variety of restaurants and ate so much food I felt like I needed to be rolled into the car to head back to the hotel. This was the perfect introduction to Beijing, and Jack was a perfect host. I’d recommend this tour and him to anyone. And if I come back to Beijing with the rest of my family, the first thing we’ll do is contact Jack.

5.00Mike took us on a wonderful walking food tour. The food was delicious, and gave us the chance to try things we otherwise wouldn’t have - but with no pressure to like or finish everything. Mike was very thoughtful and anticipating of our needs, absolutely perfect!
