• A great morning covering Forbidden city and Temple of Heaven

  Very nice and enjoyable trip and a helpful way to navigate Forbidden city and the Temple of Heaven. The guide was very good and flexible and we had plenty of time to see as much as we wanted. Great morning.

  I have done another tour with this company days earlier, which was excellent, but this one kind of fell short of expectation. Considering how expensive it is (2300 RMB roughly) the tour guide and what was offered was a bit bare. The places we visited were great and Im really happy to have been able to see it and have someone drive us (driver was great) to where we need to go. However the tour guide was not attentive and only really spoke when spoken to. She gave facts at notable areas like at a map, or earlier on in the car ride to give some history and at the beginning of each destination, but it was something you'd read in the blurb of wikipedia. Surprisingly, our guide from another night for an unrelated tour, gave us much more interesting and unique facts about the sites we were now visiting. We walked in silence quite a lot, which is okay too but we had so many questions which were kind of terminated with a brief answer. On the other hand, our guide was friendly and gentle, just wished it was more of a guided tour. Lunch which was included in the price was alright expect that we were limited to 200RMB including the guide herself. So that's really not much to spend in a restaurant. I can't remember if there was a no-lunch option but i'd select that next time. I have given it 4 stars because I dont want to hurt the reputation of the operator. Reading other reviews it seems like others all had a great time - noting too that none of them had my guide.

  Cassie was a great guide who provided a lot of great history and guidance. She took us on the subway and bus system and got us through security quickly and easily! Definitely highly recommend her!

  The tour was great, they were on time and hassle free. Lucy was an incredible tour guide. She was a bundle of knowledge and explained everything so well. She had answers to all our questions. Lucy personalised our tour to our needs and even took us to an amazing Chinese tea room where we learnt about the different teas and tried them too. Lucy even accommodated a trip to the Birds Nest to see it at night. She was so friendly and made us all very welcome. She also knew the best photo spots for all of these locations and took great group pictures. Lucy took us for lunch at a hutong restaurant and Lucy was so helpful in ensuring the restaurant accommodated for our nut allergies. Would highly recommend asking for Lucy for this trip.

  Edward, our host showed us around 3 amazing sights in Beijing. The tour was well organised and Edward was very knowledgeable and interesting. We had great time and loved exploring such a wonderful city.
