Tai Chi, needless to say , is the most popular Chinese style exercise and can be seen practiced almost in every corner of the world. But very few can realize it actually carry the indigenous Chinese culture: Taoism. It aims to improve body's decent Qi through series of relaxation work. Once you have the Qi flow throughout your entire body freely, it will largely improve the overall health level and achieve a wonderful state of harmony between man and nature, bring a qualitative leap in thinking and cognition.
Chinese tea is the most important drink for Taoist, as it can enhance the Shen, as well as cultivate great moral conduct and a stable temperament for the practitioner. Chinese tea also greatly assists with the internal cultivation of Tao.Tea drinking is also an indispensable drink in people’s daily diet, offering great health benefits in addition to promoting peace and self-reflection.

In the 1 hourTai Chi experience you would learn Tai chi Taoism knowledge, basic relaxation forms, typical Tai Chi movements, self- massage methods. Instructed by English speaking master, you would understand what makes Tai Chi so popular today across the world and how Tai Chi maintain our good health. In our Tea house you have a chance to taste 4- 5 types different Chinese tea and 3-5 snacks. Assisted by our Tea master, you can distinguish the Tea quality by yourself, enjoy Kungfu Tea ceremony and learn Tea culture in China, the way to relax and meditate while sipping tea.

5.00This was a wonderful experience for both the Tai Chi and Tea tasting/ceremony. Both were very informative, Eric was amazing and very humble and took us around after the class for the tea corner. Alice was very very sweet! The teas we tasted were on another level, and she provided us with some history behind them. We told Alice we had another appointment after and she wrapped up on time and even guided us to the next street. We went back to her again and she was so welcoming!

5.00This Tai chi class was an amazing experience! The teacher Eric was an excellent instructor, he was very kind and patient, he checked my experience level and organized the lesson based on it. I am a beginner and he explained the basic forms with details and extra focus on the philosophy behind the practice, it was very inspiring. Having this class before visiting the Temple of Heaven was a very good idea because it helped to create the right mindset for the beautiful and peaceful views.

5.00Tai Chi is such a beautiful way to learn about heath and our self’s. It was great to start the morning with Eric’s class, practicing presence (mind, eyes and body). It is relaxing and fun in the same time. Eric is a great master and specks fluent English. Going to the tea class after was the perfect combination, Alice Yang is a tea expert and lover. What a great day! I am glad I picked up this experience so I can leave China feeling I immersed myself in this fascinating culture!

5.00Fun, rewarding experience. Eric gave a broad perspective on Tai Chi and delivered an interesting beginners lesson. He then transitioned to Alice at Alice Yqng’s Tea House, who gave an exceptional overview of tea history, culture and the science behind harvesting & preparing tea. Both Alice and Eric were patient, hospitable and well-prepared. Great half-day experience in Beijing.
