Temple of Heaven
Temple of Heaven is the largest Imperial place of worship from ancient times, which is a place for ancient Ming and Qing dynasties emperors pray for good harvest. Now, it is also a park where the local community utilizes this beautiful and enormous space for social activities such as singing, dancing, and Tai chi practice exercise.
The Palace Museum
Forbidden City, the largest Imperial Palace in the world. You will spend a couple of hours wandering around this amazing example of Imperial architecture and learning about the history of the palace. For around 500 years , it served as the home of emperors and their households from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government. Tour route: Forbidden City is divided into two parts. The southern section, or the Outer Court was where the emperor exercised his supreme power over the nation. The northern section, or the Inner Court was where he lived with his royal family.
Shichahai Scenic Resort
Hutong is a Mongolian word meaning water well. At nine meters (about 30 feet) wide, it is the name given to a lane or small street that originated during the Yuan Dynasty (1271–1368). Walk around old Beijing hutong nearby Shichahai Lake. Now they have become representatives of local culture, thus it is still the first choice for people who would like to learn about the local history and culture.

You will have your own choice of taking the cable car or chair lift up to the breathtaking wall, spend 1 to 2 hours leisurely hiking up and down the various sections to explore the Watch Towers, admire at the construction of marveling beauty of the renown and legendary Wall. After hiking, You will have option of an exhilarating toboggan ride back down or just simply return the way you came.

5.00We were group of 4 adults and 2 kids. Within 2 days we visited Tianamen Square, Forbidden City, Great Wall, Tea tasting experience and went to an amazing restaurant for Beijing Duck. This was one of best experiences in our lifes. So much history, world wonder and we heard great intersting stories. Huge thaks to our guide Jenny, who was so professional, gave us amazing insights and speaks great English. Would highly recommend her for her English, professionalism and storytelling about Chinese an Beijing history. See you next time.

5.00I had a great time with My tour guide May and tour co-ordinator Catherine. Both are extremely professional, cordial and accomodating. We really enjoyed the day and felt at home. May arranged a great vegetarian luch for us as well and took care of all our needs. Visit to the tea room for tasting was an added bonus. I highly recommend this tour

5.00For two days we visited places that you can’t miss, visiting China. Our guide Justin was very nice and helpful and he took us on a tour of The Forbidden City, Tian’anmen Square, The Great Wall and Gubei water Town. We really loved it all. Justin gave historic details and was very patient while we took 1000 photos. Also we got a very confortable van and a nice driver.

5.00Teagan and Moo We both had the pleasure of this wonderful 2 day, lunch included private driver and personel english tour guide. Our tour guide was Jenny she was great and very informative with all aspects of the tour history and very well spoken english which helped us understand better. All of the acess tickets were included through Jenny our which made it super easy. Honestly we wouldve struggled to find the right entrances and wouldve been walking around in circles. Alot of the sites we went to due to the time of year were easily accessible for us which made it more special for photos. Definately made seeing the list of places so much more enjoyable, we give all praise to Jenny and her knowledge. It was a tour to remember. Ask for Jenny as your next guide and allow her to take you on a amazing journey through beijing past and present.

She was passionate about her work and was very informative with the rich history in Beijing. We would highly recommend Jenny as a tour guide as we spent 2 enjoyable days seeing all the main tourist sites in Beijing.

5.00We had a wonderful 2 day experience with our English-speaking guide Justin in China. He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and his command of the English language was exceptional, which made our tour both enjoyable and easy to follow. I would highly recommend **Catherine Lu Tours**. Booking with them was very easy, the prices were very reasonable, and Catherine communicates promptly and replies to emails very quickly. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish.
