We will tour the must-see sights of Belfast city centre. We started at Belfast City Hall. Here, we will make a short introduction to the city, its history and its political conflict. We continue through the Linear district, now a modern area with theaters, murals and a curious pub called the corona : we will enter to see it inside, as it is a relic of the nineteenth century. In this area, we will talk more in depth about the conflict in front of Hotel Europa: bombed 33 times by the IRA. Then we'll go to the Titanic Memorial: built by Irish and sunk by an English locals say. Here we will talk about the role of the ship in the history of the city. After this, we will go to the Cathedral Quarter : a vibrant area with modern pub where the core of pre-industrial Belfast once stood. Finally, we will go to the port area, where we will see the cranes of the company that built the Titanic. With a mural watching over us from the background, we’ll get to know Belfast’s version of Big Ben as well as our most curious monument: the Big Fish. Here we’ll say goodbye with a list of the city’s best recommendations.
