  Enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. Very flexible around our musical interests. Visited a quirky and interesting selection of bars and pubs with live music.   This tour was awesome! We got to see so much cool street art and hear great local music along the way at pubs where the locals hang out on a Saturday night. The guide really knew his stuff — super friendly and full of interesting stories. He took us to places we’d never would have found on our own, and it gave us a whole new appreciation for Belfast. Highly recommend if you want to see the city’s creative side!

  Thank you Marti for a fantastic tour. We learnt so much about Belfast, its places, people and history. We stopped off at some brilliant music and pub venues and the street art was amazing, we got a taste for all things Belfast. Marti was an excellent tour guide extremely knowledgeable, professional and we highly recommend this tour, many thanks

  The most unique tour we’ve ever been on. Marti was incredibly knowledgeable and showed us so much art I feel like we will be reflecting on & digesting all the information for a long time. The music portion of the tour was less than the street art but we briefly saw one trad/folk group & a drummer/singer duo. Marti also pointed out lots more bars & walked us through a number of other places he recommended. If you want a small group tour that’s lead by someone that is unique & clearly passionate about the arts, this is the tour for you.

  Our brilliant guide Marti led us around Belfast on a fantastic cultural tour on a Friday evening. I wanted to show a visiting friend the amazing street art and music culture of the modern Belfast. Marti knew all the best places to listen to live music, taste the beers and join in with the great vibe. Marti also led us around the vast number of brilliant street art installations and told us all about the pieces and their artists. Thoroughly recommend taking a tour with Marti to discover all that is great about the modern vibrant Belfast.

  This tour was one of the most unique we have ever experienced. Marti showed us a slice of Belfast that we definitely would not have experienced on our own. I liked the fast pace and the fact that there were only 4 of us. The street art is amazing and the number of interesting pubs in the Cathedral Quarter we visited was too many to count!   We booked Marti’s Pub and street art tour at the last minute. It was terrific! He has so much local knowledge - knew exactly where to take us and also seems to know many, many people in the area. We learned about things we never could have “googles” and went into ohms we would not find on our own. Marti was most interested in making sure our party was having a good time. It seemed so important to him that we understood the delicate balance that is Belfast today. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

  Marti loves his hometown of Belfast, and his pride shines through as he winds you through the city core telling you stories of the street art, architecture, pubs, and the history and moral principles that form the essence of Belfast. He's quirky, genuine, and I swear his voice sounds a bit like Van Morrison. He takes you to the Belfast that the locals adore, and will help you avoid the touristy traps.   Marti is very quirky but once you get his sense of humour and personality you'll have a great time. His knowledge of the city is 2nd to none. We wanted an alternative to all the usual historical tours and we were not disappointed. My friend and I were lucky enough to be the only ones on our tour and Marti showed us so much including the brilliant array of non political street art aswell as several bars to have a taste of several of the many genres of live music available . He also took us off the beaten track to discover places we would not have known about otherwise. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend Marti and this particular tour.
