5.00The lunch tour was great! We went with two adults and two children (both 8 years old). Multiple spots included a drink (an alcoholic beverage, water, soda, or juice) along with food (two were fuller meals and the other spots were snacks or “must try” bites). Our tour guide was fantastic—friendly and knowledgeable and every business we visited was welcoming and delicious. We all left satisfied and full!

5.00Having been regular visitors to Ambergris, we finally did the food tour. It was excellent and brought us to several new places. Each place had history and was authentically Belizean. The tour was well organized and each stop was ready for us with freshly prepared bites. Standouts were Fry Jacks and Snapper Empanadas. But more importantly it opened up a world of friendly hospitality and local cuisine that we czz as n go back to try. Melva our guide was fun, friendly and knowledgable. Book this tour!

5.00Jameel (sp?) was an amazing tour guide! You can tell he has so much love and passion for Belize! The food we tasted was amazing! The stew chicken was great and the rum creams at Saul’s were awesome! Highly recommend this tour and I love that Jameel gave history of the food before we ate it!

5.00We had an excellent experience on our food tour in Belize with Jamil Trejo. He did a fantastic job pacing the tour so that it never felt rushed or overwhelming, and his explanations of each dish really added depth to the experience. You can tell he genuinely enjoys sharing Belizean culture. Jamil also went above and beyond by offering great recommendations for things to do afterward, especially around Secret Beach, which made the rest of our day even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was discovering a restaurant on the tour that we liked a lot, we actually went back later that same day for a full meal. That alone says a lot about how well-curated the stops were. A small suggestion for the chocolate factory stop: offering a sampling of chocolate drinks (teas or hot chocolate) in smaller cups could be a great way to introduce visitors to the flavors and encourage purchases. It feels like an easy win that would enhance an already great stop on the tour. Overall, highly recommend this tour—Jamil does an outstanding job making it both delicious and memorable.
