Take the express train back to Milan with your guide. The tour will finish in Milan's Central Station.

All time for transportation (train, ferry, subway, etc) is already included in the tour duration.
The tour programme & schedule can change for operations reasons (eg train strike, bad weather, force majeure, technical issues of the boat, etc)
At the end of the tour the group will normally take the train from Varenna to return to Milan, but if you wish you can stay in Varenna to spend more time there and take on of the next trains by yourself (we will provide the tickets - this must be comunicated before 13:00 on the day of the tour)
During the summer period, there is a small beach in Varenna if you want to swim a little
The tour is always confirmed in case of rain
In the winter time (November-March) the tour starts 1 hour earlier (7:55 AM meeting point in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and 8:15 meeting point in Central Station), while summer time (Aprile-October) the tour starts 1 hour later (8:55 AM meeting point in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and 9:15 meeting point in Central Station).
It is possible to cancel free of charge only up to 24 hours before the tour, after that term it is not possible to cancel free of charge or modify the booking (for any reason)

5.00Beautiful tour! Seeing the city Como, the Lake and the towns were a must. Only slight trouble was the guide tend to be ahead while going through a busy crowd, so it may be easy to lose sight.

5.00I traveled solo and had the best experience with Alessandro to Lago di Como from Milano. Everything ran very smoothly and you don’t need to worry about ANYTHING. Tickets, timing, meeting points and everything is very well organized so you just forget and enjoy (they contact you via WhatsApp the night before, so you have a contact in hand just in case). Weather was awful and boat experience was still great. There’s enough time in each destination and Alessandro provided good info on Italy and each place. Really enjoyed it and would do it again!

5.00This is a well-worth-it tour, lasting about 10 hours from train departing Milan to returning. We viewed or passed by numerous historic and beautiful sites/scenes, with other popular ones like the Casino Royale and George Clooney’s estates as well. Alessandro was a terrific guide, letting us know interesting historical background and keeping us informed as to what was coming next. It was a great day.

2.00We were really excited for this day trip after reading several positive reviews, however this was not what we expected based on the overview and description of the tour. Based on the title and description of a small group tour, we expected to be with others limited to those who also signed up for this experience, but found ourselves amongst the masses the entirety of the day. You are a group of 12 max in the “tour” but every part of the day (train, ferry, boat, etc) is still with hundreds of other patrons, so despite paying for a small group tour, all that is getting you is information/history from a guide but your view of Lake Como is obstructed the entirety of the boat ride from other tourists taking photos at every moment. Additionally, since each stop of the day was planned around public transportation rather than a private experience, our itinerary was delayed awaiting boats that arrived late on multiple occasions. Upon arrival to Bellagio it was around 2:00pm and unbeknownst to us (given no input from our guide), several restaurants in the city close at 2-2:30 before they re-open for dinner and multiple restaurants turned us away as they were closing. We arrived to Varenna as our last stop in which we were supposed to have an hour to explore but when we got off the boat our guide informed us we only had 20 minutes before we needed to meet back to catch the train back to Milan which felt like a waste of a stop as this wasn’t enough time to even walk into the city center. Would not recommend this tour to anyone interested in actually seeing Lake Como in a memorable manner.
