We'll begin the tour with a convenient pick-up from our office, located near the city center. From there, we'll make our way to Nina's house, located in the heart of Berat's historic castle. Upon arrival at Nina's house, you'll be greeted with a warm welcome from our local host and expert cook. The cooking class will begin with a brief introduction to the dishes we'll be preparing. You'll receive all the necessary ingredients and equipment, and our expert cook will guide you through each step of the process You'll have the opportunity to prepare two or three traditional Albanian dishes, depending on your preferences and availability. Some possible dishes include Stuffed Eggplants, Fërgesë (a traditional Albanian dish made with peppers, tomatoes, and cheese), After the cooking is done, it's time to sit down and enjoy the meal you've prepared! At Nina's, we take pride in providing a friendly, welcoming, and educational environment for our guests

5.00In the house Vasili we cooked with Nina and Mikael (translator) Hacktätschli, Ferges and baked eggplant in the evening. The kitchen is covered outside and you cook with gas. We had a private cooking class for two and had a lot of fun and very delicious, local food. It was accompanied by water and wine and for dessert Petulla with quince jam.

5.00Such an incredible experience! We cooked amazing fresh food. Mama’s hospitality was incredible and she was so attentive. This is absolutely worth the experience! If you are in Berat and feeling hungry go visit!

5.00We were welcomed by Nina and a friend to make three typical Albanian dishes. Mickael speaks French very well, we talked a lot. We pick you up at the bottom of the town to climb into a typical house next to the castle. Small glass of Raki to start with and then we prepare the dishes. Everything was very good and the atmosphere very friendly. We definitely recommend this moment to share.

5.00Very nice homely experience with a good view. Aubergine, meatballs, ferges (a cheese dish), and pancakes. So delicious! I’ll take some lessons home. The view was quite excellent as it was the mountains unfurling. Location is inside of Berat castle.

5.00We as a couple would definetily recomend this cookingclass. Nina and Mikel are very nice people and hosts! We felt very welcome in Ninas home. The food was exceptionally good, the Raki and vine was amazing. The food was better than in the resturants, so if you really want to eat local, this is the place to be. A 10 out of 10, nothing less.
