Your experience begins at our office in Berat,

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a member of the winemaking family, who will guide you through the winery and share insights into their production methods and the story behind their wines.

The vineyard visit is subject to weather and seasonal conditions. Your guide will inform you on the day if this part is possible.

Please notify us in advance of any dietary restrictions or allergies.

Winery selection (Edoni, Alpeta, or Pupa) is based on availability at the time of your booking.

Embark on a classic wine-tasting tour of Berat, and indulge in the region’s finest wines. Our friendly driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to one of the wineries in the region. Upon arrival, you will meet one of the family representatives, who will take you on a guided winery tour and explain the winemaking process. You will have the opportunity to taste 3 different types of wine, carefully selected by the winery. To enhance your wine-tasting experience, you will also sample one type of raki, and local snacks that perfectly complement the wine. The total length of the experience is approximately 2.5 – 3 hours, giving you ample time to fully appreciate and savor the wines. Once the tasting is complete, our driver will return you to your hotel in Berat. Please note that the price is for one winery and we can choose from several options including Edoni, Alpeta, Pupa, However, please keep in mind that the wineries are subject to availability.

We went on this tour in the beginning of October, unfortunately, during a few days of rain. However, this wine tour was a highlight in our trip. Partially due to the lovely tour and seeing and tasting Albanian wines which we weren’t familiar with, and also because of the group we were in. You get a look in the fields of where they grow the grapes, and also the winery itself with the machines and where the bottles are stored. Our guide Igi was friendly, interesting to listen to, and explained everything very well. With a large part of the group we continued drinking wines in the city. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Great to see the vines and hear about the history of the vineyard Wines itself were fabulous. Food was good but not a lot of it. Couldn’t really understand the guide for most of the evening. His accent was difficult to concentrate on. Bit full of himself as well. Would have been nice to actually have a person who worked at the vineyard to tell us about it and would have been more genuine.

We had an amazing tour to/in the wine house and a good tasting. They served different local wine and some traditional food. Our guide told us a lot about the wine, Albania in general and about Berat. I would recommend everybody this tour!

We had a fantastic winery tour in Berat, Albania! Our guide, the professor, was incredibly attentive and clearly passionate about what he does. He brought so much positive energy to the experience, making the visit both fun and informative. You could tell he genuinely enjoys his work—he explained everything with great detail and enthusiasm. We ended the tour all engaged with each other, dancing to Albanian songs and enjoying plenty of raki and wine. It was such a warm, joyful, and unforgettable experience. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something authentic and full of life in the region!

We had an amazing tour of the Pupa Winery with our local guide ‘the professor’. First we visited the vineyard and got to see, taste and learn about the autochthonous grapes and grape vines itself. After the little hike we were able to taste 3 types of wines and had some albanian tapas to share- yum! The Raki at the end rounded things up! And of course.. it didn’t end with only one 😉

Nice guide who took us to a beautiful vineyard with amazing views. Got to try good wines, rhaki and some picking food. Great value for money. Highly recommended!

The Professor gave us an amazing day! We really liked the tour and would recommend for sure. The wine tasting with raki certainly gave us the Albania experience.
