5.00Book this tour in, you won't regret it. We ate amazing food but also finished with a greater understanding of Berlin thanks to Alex. He was so knowledgeable and a great host. I recommend doing this near the start of your trip if you can because we got great recommendations.

He not only provided information on the food and the history behind the food we were eating, but he also gave us insider's knowledge on the former East Berlin community where we were walking. His stories brought the area to life and helped us understand a part of Berlin and life in Berlin which was not part of other tours.

5.00My husband and I had an amazing time on the Berlin Food & Cultural Tour: German & Berliner Classics with Walk with Us Tours! Our guide, Alex, was fantastic — super knowledgeable about both the food and the history of Friedrichshain, and you could tell he’s put a lot of thought into curating the perfect stops along the route. Every bite was delicious — from the perfectly crispy schnitzel to the flavorful doner kebab and the iconic currywurst, we loved sampling so many local favorites. The German Flammkuchen was a standout, and the apple cinnamon dumplings at the end were the perfect sweet finish. We also really enjoyed exploring Friedrichshain itself — it’s such a cool, artsy neighborhood, and Alex’s stories made us appreciate it even more. Highly recommend this tour if you want to eat well, learn a lot, and have a genuinely fun time experiencing Berlin’s food and culture!

5.00Plenty of food and a diversity of food that represents the diversity of Berlin itself. Alex was a phenomenal guide, articulate, funny, and very attentive to his guests. My daughter and I had a blast and I would recommend this experience to anyone.

5.00I took this tour with my boyfriend while visiting Berlin. I didn’t know what to expect, but we had such a great time! We learned a lot about an area we would have probably never visited. Cool street art and lots to take in. The food was also great and got to learn about the dishes as well. I liked the schnitzel sandwich and the dessert. Would recommend for sure. Do not eat before you come. It’s a lot of food!
This food tour was the best part of our Berlin trip!

We loved starting at the famous Berlin Wall, and all the food and beers we tried was authentic and delicious. Easily the best food tour we’ve ever done. Highly recommend!

5.00This is a great food tour - a strong variety of delicious stops with some detours to see a beautiful neighborhood. Beyond that, though, you can tell the difference between a guide going through a checklist of places and one that is really into food. Margot is absolutely the latter, overflowing with recommendations and ideas of where to go and what to get all over the city. We’ve tried a few of her choices now and they were stellar. Do this early and get hooked up with great food for the rest of your stay!

5.00Alex was absolutely incredible, so knowledgeable and lots of fun. We had a fantastic time strolling around East Berlin and learning about the history and culture and rebirth of that area all while eating absolutely amazing food. I don’t think there was a single bite. that wasn’t absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a fun couple of hours and unique experience in Berlin. Definitely start out with an empty stomach you will need the room!
