Experience the ULTIMATE Santa Ana Volcano Hiking Tour in El Salvador.
Located in the biological corridor called Apaneca-Ilamatepec, Santa Ana volcano is considered one of the jewels of Central America.
If you are looking for the best things to do, we have designed this tour for you. The hike takes approximately 2 hours to climb and another 2 hours to descend, this can vary according to the physical condition of the group. On summit of the volcano you can see one of the most beautiful craters in the world with an emerald green lagoon.
At the end of the adventure we will drive to take in a panoramic view of Coatepeque lake with time for lunch (lunch not included)

5.00I could not have made it up to the volcano. Without my guides help. Diego was very patient with me. I’m 72 years old. I couldn’t made it to top of the volcano without his assistance.

5.00We had an extraordinary day! My family get to see a volcano and a volcanic lake all in one day. Got back to our hotel in El Tunco and did not even feel tired. Our wonderful , very safe bus driver and the tour guide Josue brought each location to life with rich stories, deep knowledge and genuine passion for sharing. The tour delivered not just a sightseeing experience, but a deeper connection to the country and its culture. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well organized, enriching and genuinely enjoyable adventure!

4.00I was not taken to lake coatepeque at all. We were shown the lake from above from a restaurant at which tour guide stopped for lunch from where there was a view of the lake. Also the guide was in a kind of rush while hiking that put immense pressure on older tourists to catch up with him.

5.00Nice day trip to the volcano. Our guide told us some interesting facts about the surroundings and nature. The length bd speed of the tour is adjusted to the participants ubd their condition. My tip: Be sure to choose an early tour so that it is not so crowded on the volcano.
